Woo!! (!)

Received a message from him this morning on my phone!
He's here, safe and sound after a tremendously epic flight, and ready to see the sights! :D

I told him that he'll need to update on how his trip is going, or there will be trouble, lol.

Is it silly that I'm exicted for him being on my home turf!? !oops! Wish I could show him so many things. Stupid fucking work, hahaha! :grrr:

But anyways, he is here! On GMT for once, lol!

I thought you live in Toronto. When did you move to England?

.... But anyways, he is here!
Indeed I am ... and loving it! Day 1 spent seeing the sights of Shrewsbury, where I'm staying for the next week. Shrewsbury is amazing .... It's like stepping back into medieval England. Shrewsbury is also famous for being the birth place and home town of Charles Darwin. Can't wait to see more of it tomorrow. A few pics from today's sightseeing ...

More sightseeing in Shrewsbury to look forward to tomorrow, then we're going for a drive around North Wales on Wednesday. After that, we'll visit the Cotswolds, Stratford Upon Avon, Oxford, Bristol etc etc before heading to London next week. My camera is going to be very busy!!

I LOVE this place!!! (!)

What did you do, take the weather with you?

I don't believe weather that nice is English.

(Things actually look a bit dry to me.)

wonderful pictures. have a great time(*8*)

eM.

Have a wonderful, delicious, exhausting, fun, thrilling time! Are you taking LSL as well as your hols? I think that there are a few festivals on in the UK & Ireland at the moment, too. Could be wrong, but some friends were muttering about performing there...

And the roses must be flowering heavily. You can be inspired by all of the beautiful, extravagant English gardens. How intoxicating for you.

Don't let the opportunities to eat tasty things with tea pass you by, either. Take care, and let your heart flow over. M(*8*)

We're actually getting some really nice weather at the moment - anywhere between 23c to 28c, and yes, we could really do with some rain as things are getting a bit dry, the green, green grass is starting to look like yellow hay!!!

Some pics from today's meanderings around Shrewsbury. A little overcast today, but still very warm. Shrewsbury is just full of delights. I love this place!!!

Hanging baskets and floral displays in tubs are everywhere. Really lovely ...
