Fortunately for us in Pennsylvania, we have some other elected officials. Like Daylin Leach, state senator who introduced a bill for marriage equality.

It's true, though: much of rural Pennsylvania has the mindset of Alabama. And since Pennsylvania has the largest rural population (in number) of any state (surprised?), their influence is significant.

OH...MY...GOD. Please nobody say anything bad about Sen. Eichelberger. Just imagine if he was mad at us, then we would all cease to exist. I like my life and don't want to suddenly vanish because The Senator got all pissed. Please all gays hear me, send him Chocolates and flowers, offer to redecorate his house and office for free. I have known for a long time that Senator John Eichelberger is like the kid in that Twighlight Zone episode who has the power to send people into the cornfield if he gets mad at them, but his power works only on gay people (sorry Bisexuals, a little girl in France has the power to end your existance, and as for you transgenders...all I can say is be very nice to Yao Ming).
