PalacePaul Appreciation Thread

Good Sunday afternoon Frankie, Andrew and John.

I strongly believe in local products and local shops, and I don't trust big companies. Among them bookstores have a special place. There was an old bookstore in this town (125+ years) that closed last year, I was pissed. At least they fusioned with another local bookstore so it wasn't all lost :(

Today when I was coming home we had a big storm but now the sun is shining.

Good Wednesday morning/afternoon, Paul! (*8*)

I agree with you that it's a shame that that bookstores are closing, and that we have to order online. I'm thinking of buying a CD that's about 20 years old, and I'll probably have to order it on Amazon, though I don't want to. The only physical store in the area is in a mall, and they're not even trying to have a decent selection anymore. Or I guess we're supposed to buy and download our music from a service like iTunes, but I like to have something physical. If it's in my computer, where is it? What is it?

Good evening RM, Frankie and John. I hope you had a good day (*8*)

Today I got a text message from the bookshop: the got my book!
I understand some things are difficult to find and the stores can't have everything in stock. I order online when necessary but never from Amazon or Alibaba or any big company like that. I search for specialised websites. Last book I ordered was from AbeBooks.

Good Sunday afternoon, Paul! (*8*)

Hope you're having a great weekend. BTW, do you get assignments to play the organ during regular church services, or do you tend to do specially scheduled programs?

Good afternoon Frankie, RM and John. I hope you're having a good weekend.

John, I do both things. I play regular services every sunday (currently in 2 different churches). I play on occasional services (like weddings, memorials, special holidays...) but these are less frequent. And concerts, which are a different matter. I'm very lucky to have all these options.

Gracias amigo. Los sábados suelen ser mis peores días, los más solitarios y aburridos. Además ayer tuve una gran decepción
Gracias por escribir (*8*)
