I'm sorry you had to sit through a stupid rehearsal. You would hope the leaders and planners would keep things focused on what needs to be accomplished, and not waste your time or other people's time. I hope that preparations and performances are going well otherwise.

I stocked up on groceries and have nothing planned for days. Worst case, I turn into a balloon. Best case, I don't eat everything at once, and go out locally sometimes.

Don't worry John, that rehearsal was just as stupid as I expected, nothing new We play some beautiful carols but the arrangements are booooring. Instead, the contemporary piece they commanded is good, but slightly too difficult for them.

Hey Dan! How are you? I hope you are having fun this Christmas season

Good for you Thad. (I can't believe you aren't travelling to a million places this week ) I'm not used to buying a lot of groceries. Instead I buy a few items every time I need them. I need to have bread, yogurts, cheese and fruits at home at all times; the rest I can manage easily.

Wow, I've been working a lot this week!! Today we had that Jubilee opening I had been preparing for months. It went very well.
Tomorrow I'm going on a little hike by the sea. It's gonna be freezing cold but I really miss it

I love this artist and song. I saw him perform it with a local youth orchestra on his last USA tour. But I hope your visit to the ocean is better than his.

Little sleep for me last night. The neighbors were setting off fireworks most of the night.
I did put on earbuds and listened to music, which cut off most of it. And I slept late today.

los días de Navidad suelen ser los más ocupados, por fin ya pasó!
Esta semana estoy recuperando la tranquilidad y mi tiempo de estudio. Es cuando más disfruto.
Lamento que estés pasando una mala temporada. En la vida siempre podemos remontar las dificultades, siempre podemos concentrarnos en lo importante y obviar lo superfluo.

Hi Paul! How is January going?
I'm going to a concert by Philadelphia Voices if Pride next week featuring music from the Americas. It's at Philadelphia's historic Church of the Holy Trinity, where the Christmas Carol "O Little Town of Bethlehem" was first performed long ago.
