PalacePaul Appreciation Thread

Good Saturday afternoon, Paul! (*8*)

I suspect that right now, you're very busy, getting ready for some organ playing at tomorrow's Easter masses, and no doubt you've had to play for Good Friday and Maundy Thursday as well. It's good that the Holy Week brunyols turned out well.
Good afternoon, John. You are right with everything, but you forgot Tuesday mass, and Easter Vigil tonight. After that, tomorrow looks pretty easy
Yes, these brunyols were very good, but we naerly ate all of them.

Happy Easter, Thad! Local pubs with good homemade food are the best! Enjoy your dinner!

These days at the cathedral I'm looking at one of the altar servants. Around 40yo, strong, bearded, beautiful eyes. He's really hot. And even though he's straight (supposedly...) I can't help imagine him like this

Good morning Rm and Frankie
I was expecting quite a lot of work this week, too. But now we have a mass for Pope Francis next monday!
Last night I got news of the death of a fellow organist. He was a grumpy old man, but I was shocked.
Yeah, at least it's Taurus season ;)

Good Saturday afternoon, Paul! (*8*)

I hope you had a great Easter, and I'm sure you'll have a wonderful performance at the Pope Francis Mass.

I hear you on the death of your fellow organist. You have ambivalent feelings when someone like that dies. They weren't pleasant to be around, but you really wouldn't wish any harm to them.

Good evening, John (*8*)
Everything is fine. After all the Holy Week and later celebrations, I expect the next weeks will be calm.
Yes, I love these drawings of sexy bulls, they look so powerful!

Good Sunday afternoon, Paul! (*8*)

I hope you're doing well, and that you're enjoying a light schedule with your organ playing these days. I hope you've also found yourself a nice, sexy bull.

Good evening, John. (*8*)
I've found one of those sexy beasts, but unfortunately he isn't mine

Yesterday I played the first wedding of this season in a distant village. After that I visited the local organist, she's 91 and can't play anymore. Really a nasty old lady who won't accept help from anyone. Everytime I visit her I think it could be the last time.

I hope you had a good weekend.

Hola Paul , gracias por escribir , espero tengas una mejor semana

Cuidate y goza de la vida mientras puedes

Good Sunday afternoon, Paul! (*8*)

I hope you're doing well, and maybe finding time to do some of the things you wish to do, between playing at weddings and such.

Today I was back to that distant village for another wedding, this time from the French bourgoisie. That was a beautiful wedding actually, they had prepared everything carefully.
After that I didn't stay for long with the nasty old lady.
In the evening I went to the theater, which I never do.

I wish everyone a good weekend (*8*)

Good morning, John! (*8*)

I've been talking a lot about organs, pipes and sizes lately (no pun intended  ), so much so that it reflects into my nightmares. FYI the plan was to drive back to Toulouse in the middle of the night and deliver the pipes at the church door. No one would ever know it was me
Sometimes I wake up from terrible dreams believing it's real, and it terrifies me :(

What I actually did is play for another French wedding yesterday in a big church. Not quite as good as the previous one, honestly.
After that I went to the beach. It was windy but I got my legs and arms into the water. It helps with my dry skin.

I hope you enjoy the weekend!

I've always wanted to visit Toulouse. But being that I haven't been to Europe for 30 years, I'd better make more real plans.

I plan to go to world-famous Asbury Park, New Jersey tomorrow for Jersey Pride. The city is redeveloping and I like the results. It's been host to Jersey Pride for years, and back in the 90s that was the only day the sad tired old town came alive. But now? There are shops and restaurants keeping it lively all the time.

Do I miss the porn theater and the bathhouse? Maybe.
