The heavy rain is gone, although it rained again this evening.
Luckily I don't have any concerts soon, so I can practice whatever I want. I'm into some new French music now.
And I'm already planning for Lent and Easter.

Something really odd happened today. As you know I like walking outdoors, so this afternoon I decided to go. The day was sunny and warm. I went to one place I often go, a lonely road in the woods (I posted some pics here long time ago). The moment I left my car I heard some loud classical music. I thought maybe it was playing in a nearby restaurant (classical??). Or someone else was hiking with really loud music on his phone. Soon the music ended and the radio host talked (I recongnised her voice): so it was live radio. I was intrigued but I started walking anyway. After a few minutes following the road I stepped aside to watch a stream, and the weirdest thing happened: loud voices talking again. This time it was a different radio station commenting on a football match. Too weird. I tried to ignore it and keep walking, but soon I got scared. I pretended to keep calm (in case anyone was watching me) and casually go back to my car. When I got there the classical music was still playing. I left as soon as I could.

I tried to make sense of all this. My first thought was that the owners of the nearby house had set this up to scare unwanted visitors. Later I did some research online and found out the authorities are struggling to control a growing population of wild boars all over the region. Big hunting parties are being organised. Another policy mentioned was acoustic signals to scare the animals away. It could be that. Maybe they set some sensors along the road to scare the boars and prevent car accidents. Still, it doesn't make perfect sense...

Anyway, in case you need a reason to watch Heated Rivalry, look at this:
 
Hi Paul what you describe sounds sort of spooky , fortunately you listened to your intuition and kept yourself safe . It's always good to carry some kind of hidden weapon when walking alone . It is actually a random experience
