has anyone been watching 'paranormal state' on a&e?

i'm watching it right now and i have to tell you... its creepy!

i love it. :D

I love this show. My lover is freaked out by it,so I watch it by myself. I haven't missed an episode yet. The guy is really cute too. I feel for him because he was exposed to the supernatural at a young age (when most people are very receptive). However, when you mess with the supernatural sometimes you get more than you bargain for. The demon Bilael is after him, That is not cute. I hope I don't forget to watch it...|
 
oh my gosh! i was soo creeped out when in the first episode the medium wrote down the demon's name and passed it on to ryan. the look on his face when he read the note was... unsettling.
 
I watch it too! It's a good, creepy show. I kind of like it better than Ghost Hunters. Only problem is with the main character guy, Ryan. I think he is soooo boring. I was making fun of him last night while it was on and I had my best friend's mom crying she was laughing so hard.
 
Last night's episode was pretty creepy. When they found that fresh carcass of the dog buried in the backyard of the creepy house with its head cut off (wtf??).......
 
eee! i know! that headless dog was pretty twisted.
 
Yes. I'm a fan of this show and all the other paranormal reality shows (ghost hunters, GH International, etc.).

i've tried ghost hunters a couple of times and i'm sort of 'meh' with them. i'm not sure why that is... and 'most haunted?' yeah, i didn't care for that one either.

the other day, right after paranormal state they showed another program about psychic/medium kids that gathered for a weekend retreat. it was presided over by the medium who frequents p.s.... that was a good show! i'm sure they'll show it again.
 
Ghost Hunters is to get my fix of Steve and Tango...

I saw the previews for the psychic kids show. I was beat otherwise I woulda stayed up for it. Hopefully it will be on again.

Destination Truth is also returning to SciFi in March (as is Battlestar Galactica)...

Yes, I watch the show with the b/f, although we both share a similar distaste for Ryan...

I don't know why, but he just annoys me. Especially in the "dog haunting" episode, where he kept whipping off his sunglasses for dramatic effect for no reason....Too CSI Miami for my tastes.

That, and I'm going to get flack for this, but the show does have a very Christian based idea to the afterlife, which you don't see in many other shows that claim to investigate the paranormal. To an extent, I suppose that annoys the b/f and myself the most...

But yes, besides that, it's an interesting show.
 
I like paranormal stuff and I am a believer, but this show... Oh dude, it just reeks of FAKENESS.

First off that lady who was involved with the Amityville Horror is nothing but a sham. That story is "based on true events" but has been revealed to be a sham, so her being involved brings zero credibility to the show. Some dispute this, but wasn't the Amityville based on a book written by someone who later revealed it as fiction?

Also the only proof that you have is what the cast and the people appearing on the show tell you. They don't show fuck all and you have to go by what they're seeing or dealing with. Edited in is crappy music and the main guys monotone voice.

It's just lame and not that good. Trust me though, if this dudes school didn't offer this paranormal club the leader guy would probably be running a Magic The Gathering club.
