paranormal state on a&e

First off that lady who was involved with the Amityville Horror is nothing but a sham. That story is "based on true events" but has been revealed to be a sham, so her being involved brings zero credibility to the show. Some dispute this, but wasn't the Amityville based on a book written by someone who later revealed it as fiction?

The part where all the children and parents were killed except for the eldest son is true, its the Lutz's story thats been suggested as a fake. Apparently the story that the movies are based on; a family stays in the house but are plagued by paranormal activity that would spook the Ghostbusters, is false. Its said that the Lutz family met with a lawyer or something and made up the story for the purposes of money. The fact the current occupant of the house has been there for a very long time with no problems (and has changed the windows from the iconic "eye" windows due to people coming for sight seeing) kinda suggests the Lutz might not have been telling the whole truth (yes I know this was posted over a year ago but I want to show off knowledge dammit!)

On the subject of the show: Because of yourself GL I watched this back in 2008 and at first I enjoyed it but after the 3rd episode of "I think this will help me find out more about my past" I kinda got anoyed with the guy. He seems to bring everthing back to himself and his past, kinda gets anoying.

The episodes I watched seemed pretty good though the investigations always seemed rushed to me. Like they didn't have enough time to include the investigation and the dudes self involved inner monologues. It might have changed, if it has I'll give the new season a ganders.

If people are interested in some paranormal watchings I suggest clicking on: http://uk.youtube.com/user/GhostWatching got a lot of ghost videos. Its mostly about British ghosts and are reconstruction shows rather than doing their own investigations but its pretty cool. Especially check out "Strange But True" that shows legendary and was banned in my house for a while because it gave me nightmares =(. I was 5.

I enjoy watching PS and yes it doesn't hurt that Ryan is a cutie, but I have to say I'm much more of a GH fan...and not just cause Tango is so hot, lol. What I like about GH is that they refuse to use "psychics" in their investigations and some of the stuff they've captured on video does send chills down my spine and I'm not easily spooked by supernatural stuff. I absolutely hate Most Haunted...it's just plain dumb and that other show Ghost Adventures makes me cringe cause these 3 guys get all freaked out over the slightest noise and they've even run out of the buildings they're suppose to be investigating which is the whole point of the show is to investigate and capture supernatural stuff. (I have to admit the lead guy on that show is hot, but that's not enough to keep me interested). If I had to list my favorite paranormal shows it would have to be:

Ghost Hunters
Ghost Hunters International
Paranormal State

I never got into Paranormal State, but I was totally in love with Psychic Kids

i'm beginning to think that with some of these investigations a half hour show is not enough. the first episode was all right whereas the second one felt like it was rushed to fit into that half hour. and that one was much more interesting if you ask me.

I watch it!! I like it!

I met Chip and he is so cool! He is so down to earth and so nice. Plus, he is an animal lover and rescuer.

I used to watch it until my cable tv got screwed up, and of course Time Warner cable doesn't know how to fix it. Recently, I started getting A&E to come in on the tv again so I'll start watching again.

As for the comments about Ryan and how cute he is ... eh, he's okay I guess. If I met him at a party and he wanted me to sneak off with him to a private backroom for some making-out and groping .. eh, I'd do it, I guess, why not?

On the other hand, I like Josh. He's not one of the main characters, he's usually running the laptop and watching the video monitors so you don't see him very often but every now and then you'll catch a glimpse of him. I think he's a cutie.

I saw that episode a few weeks ago where a demon was jumping from one lady to another. The ladies were in two different states!!

It was so CREEPY. I was blown away!

The demon Bilael is after him, That is not cute. I hope I don't forget to watch it...|

Yeah, and I like how the censors of the show covered up the name when they showed the piece of paper it was written on, and bleeped out the name whenever it was spoken.

We can't be letting any little elementary kid hear the demon's name, he might want to research it on the internet and open a demon portal in his bedroom, right? And then it's A&E's fault for revealing the name.

It must be nice for people these days to be completely absolved of all personal responsibility, never having to make their own decisions about what they watch, or what they hear on the radio and such. Just let the government and corporate censors do all that for them ... at a cost to everyone else.

The decline of American freedom, how sad.
