Pastors Blame Wildfires on Christian Women Who Wear Pantsuits and Hats

If God was trying to send a message, he’d start the Colorado fires in January. That would get some attention. Massive wildfires in the driest part of the year? Seems like the bar’s set pretty low, omnipotent-deity-wise.

Dammit, I went past the 10 minutes, I was trying to add a paragraph to one of my sentences...

"There are enough of them to have hijacked AN ENTIRE POLITICAL PARTY...which, if they had their way, would assure that your life would be a continuous hell on earth...because you're gay." You're in Missouri - may God help you if you ever have a relationship and you want to visit your partner in the hospital, because the politicians in your state certainly want to make sure you CANNOT POSSIBLY have a recognized relationship, or rights of any kind. (I assume you can still be thrown out of a rental property, just for being gay, as well.)

Well, there WERE a bunch of rather large wildfires in OKLAHOMA in January, three or five years ago. Perhaps God started the fires there, and at that time, to tell Oklahomans that their anti-gay feelings are profoundly un-Christian?

Or not. But, if not, then those tornadoes and hurricanes and earthquakes aren't because of gay marriage either.

They always try to have it both ways - it's incomprehensible that God would mostly punish places like Oklahoma and Mississippi because of gay rights. By the logic that these people use, shouldn't those places be ABSOLUTELY immune from natural disasters and, instead, places like Illinois and Massachusetts being beset by endless series of them?

Liberty University is the world’s largest evangelical Christian university, and as David Swanson's investigative reporting for the Huntington News website and in Sojourners magazine disclosed, is among the foremost national training grounds for “pilots who go up in planes and drone pilots who sit behind desks wearing pilot suits.”
