Then there are the "demonists" and Luciferians (not Wiccans) who are conscioius of the supernatural powers they choose to dabble with, .but have too much arrogance to see danger in their thrills.
.
That is an interesting distinction. Like I said, I don't know much about Wicca.
Whereas real Satanists are actually atheists (believe in neither God nor Devil), LUCIFERIANS do worship an incarnate Devil, practicing black magic to conjure him for gaining material favor.
Demonists are like Luciferians, but not as committed to bringing the "end game" of destroying the Chrisitan god's hold upon Earth.
Wiccan theology has no incarnate "Supreme Evil," but only Nature's Goddess and Her consort God, who are Mother and Father of all creation. Judeo-Christians invented the Devil as an adversary to the Judeo-Christians' God, after the Babylonian captivity exposed them to the Zoroastrians' dualistic theology.
Modern Wiccans do acknowledge, though, that mundane evil exists as a result of humanity's mundane actions --- done by our intelligent, free will. Our species suffers from consumer excess and the capacity to murder for sport
Most Wiccans also acknowledge that supernatural evil exists as a result of people's supernatural actions for evil purposes. Their spells can build a thoughtform, a fetch, a wraith, an egregore, or even an etheric ushabti or golem; and whatever its strength and purpose, their masters generally don't program them to dissolve on its own.
In the case of being the vicitm of a personal psychic attack --- which can happen to anyone --- Wiccans deal with it by drawing on Nature.
(I, on the other hand, not so "playing nice" like an orthodox Wiccan, have a background in ceremonial magic, and my talismans "throw down gangsta" against routine menaces around my home.)
