I have a friend who has a gay brother and while she says she opposed the RNC platform,she'll be voting for Romney anyway. Sorry but you can't have it both ways.

^ I bet if you ask why and she'd probably say: to get Obama out of the WH or that social issues aren't important despite the fact that, even during this economic climate, the sociocons still talk about social issues.

It's the same with other gay or gay friendly GOPers I know. Change the party from the inside when it's obvious that the majnstream GOP clearly doesnt want them except for votes, and to only discuss fiscal and defence issues.

People have better luck getting the Democrats to embrace Raegan's economic policies than the GOP to embrace moderate social issue policies.

Cowboy Bob, I followed your link to that article. It seems the author is from TN. Of course, the place where they tried to make it illegal to say gay. Not everybody in TN is like that. But it does make the state look bad. Actually, the state is quite scenic except for the people. lol

Whether the article's author is from Tennessee, California, New Hampshire or North Dakota, doesn't make a difference. It's Paul Ryan's voting record that matters. Not everyone in those states all feel the same about one issue. It's Raul Ryan that does.
