Peeing in the shower

I don't think it will really save much water if you pee while you're taking a shower since the entire time that you're peeing, water is running down the drain. My friend's parents taught her to keep a bucket of water in the shower so it would fill up and they would use that bucket to flush the toilet to save water.

I'm not going to bother getting out of the shower to go pee. If I need to pee and I'm already in the shower than let the yellow river flow.

As long as they pee in their own shower and not the one at the gym I guess it's OK.

If I were you I would assume that gym showers get alot of pee flowing down the drain. I myself workout 5 days a week at the gym and our showers are open stalls for the most part I know that it is a commom practice for guys to be pissing in shower often when showering. That is one reason I always wear flip flops in gym locker rooms

No, I don't pee in the shower. I shower once a day and pee perhaps about nine times a day so it would save only one flush. Not a lot of water.

My lover got a horrible staff infection in the locker room at our gym and had to be hospitalized...and our gym is really clean....or at least it looks like it. I do wear flip flops but I think about what kind of fungus there is all around. I have a mild to moderate fear of germs.

Urine from a healthy male is sterile. It's been filtered through your kidneys. It does not contain any "biologicals", only minerals (like salt) and some chemicals (like ureic acid). It can kill some fungi, and other "biologicals".

Of course I pee in the shower!

If I have to pee right before taking a shower, I just do it in the shower.

Why not just use the toilet and follow the old saying "if it's yellow leave it mellow, if it's brown flush it down"?

Sometimes a drop of water reaches up to your ass when you poo. It's not a pleasant thought to have someones pee reach there (it might even be female pee ewwww)

Plus it's pretty much asking for toilet mold to not flush every time.

It kills me that people are all afraid of some sterile urine.....but meanwhile, in a gym shower or even their own, people are reefing out or scrubbing off any foecal remains from their assholes...I'd be more worried about having someone with serious anal leakage and a case of worms showering just beside me in the gym than I would from any salty rain.

Probably where someone's staph infection came from...but probably in aerosolized form from the water droplets or the steam.
