Has anyone here ever had an issue with a cut or abrasion on their penis not healing correctly?

Idk what caused it initially, but one day I noticed a scab on the shaft. Several days went by, the scab falls off and my skin appeares to be completely healed... until I go jerk off again and my skin opens up again. Then it scabs up again and the cycle repeats itself over and over again

Its been a year and im still dealing with this. I do plan on seeing a doctor soon but I was wondering if anyone here is or has gone through something like this before.

I had to pass up a 3some earlier today because the sore was there lol
 
Get checked for Herpes Type II. If a swab test comes back negative get a blood test to confirm.

But what makes you think its type 2 specifically?

Im ready to rule out herpes is the cause of this just for the fact that that spot never formed a blister that wept. Its never painful or itcy
 
Have you been tested for diabetes? It does sound like a diabetic ulcer.

No, but I really dont think I have diabetes. Im a 215lb, 6 foot 2 inch tall muscualar guy. I work out alot...

though my diet isnt the cleanest...

And it would explain why my sex drive is out of wack
 
There are many dermatological problems that can present themselves on your penis that are not STD's but can be irritated by sex and/or masturbation. I had an irritation on my glans and decided to go to a dermatologist rather then a urologist. I find a skin doctor can arrive at a more definitive diagnosis than a urologist. In my case the doctor gave me an ointment which cleared up the problem, told me it was not infectious, might recur periodically and if it does just use the ointment again
 
In my case it was something called lichen planus. It started out as an irritation, began to heal and then kept coming back until I saw the Doc. Once I put the ointment on for 2-3 it went away for good (but came back about a year later so I put the ointment back on to treat it)
 
^ did yours look like a small shiny red spot on your dick? I think I might have the same thing.

I talked to an online doctor about it and he told me to use anti fungul cream on it.. its keeping it from scabbing but the sore wont disappear
 
Yes, it did start out as a small red spot. I would strongly suggest that you go to a doctor (preferably a dermatologist) who can look at it. Nothing can take the place of the doctor actually see what you are talking about. The ointment my doc gave me is a prescription only thing.

Went to a free clinic last wednesday...

Found out it was a flat wart =(.....

Hopefully my homeopathic and home remedies get it off soon
