Is it ok not to engage with people since they most often like to be liars and cheats?
I know some people who like to promote "kindness" and hate all bigotry, but then they say they "expect" tall/big black men to smile since it makes them more comfortable. So clearly, they are liars and they are racist asf. there's nothing about being tall and black that makes one inherently dangerous. and nobody has to smile to make them feel comfortable. their feelings are not inherently paramount in any situation, nor are anybody else's. So I distance myself from them since they're clearly liars and full of shit. Or they have some social disorders/autism that is undiagnosed or something, since they should check body language and mannerisms to note intent, and not race and sex and/or gender.

i would admit to being a bit of a loner for this. and i don't mind it. i do most stuff alone, and i like it. if somebody says, "well people would beat you for being alone!" eh? why? maybe that's the norm in your ghetto or rough area, but then they can try. for one, i would beat them down pretty readily. Secondly, i have a lot of relatives quite high up in my country's police force. Matching that with a clear case of assault for a petty reason, then it doesn't bode well for them. maybe they'd get put in a mental institution, since we're supposed to be able to mentally process how basic laws are applied. if a person hits another because they're shorter than them, and they say this to the police or in court, I'm sure it would go through the police officers' and judge's mind to lock them up somewhat. others' bad mental processing isnt' my issue.

People make decisions on first appearances until they get to know you better. If I was walking down the street and two young men dressed roughly and carrying chains and crow bars and speaking in foul language were coming from the other direction I might judge the situation and cross street to avoid them. If two middle aged women dressed appropriately were coming toward me discussing recipes I would not cross the street to avoid them. People also make judgements based on their experiences which may different than your experiences.

There are, however, too many liars and cheaters in the world.

You are likely pre-judging a lot of people and by avoiding contact, just keep reinforcing your own fear and likely unfounded prejudice.

Of course we are all going to meet people along the way that don't like us for some reason...as homos there certainly is a rich history of having to deal with homophobes.

But what a shame if we miss out meeting and enjoying time with other interesting people in our lives.

I am intrigued by your second paragraph...you immediately shifted to contextualizing your isolation with potential violence and the redress for that. If this is a framework you live with that limits your interaction with others, I would suggest that you find a group or organization where you can feel safe with others who may share some of your real interests.

Everbody has prejudices. i'd argue who are you to label who can have them or not? it's a baseless "authority".

It's just i get the heavy suspicion that you won't or don't see the principle attached, and would openly excuse those who do. It just seems arbitrary. and no one person's view is the "benchmark" others have to adhere to. i dont' see that as controversial, that's just pretty normal.

not sure what the relevnce is to dogs. i can see this thread has triggered or bored you. either way, i don't care. i know you have this imaginary rule that you're "special". but i don't see you that way, nor ever will. if you're "smart" and "wise", you'd exhibit it. accept humans have varying moods and behaviours, and don't assume everybody should look up to as "special". most adults just roll with shit. i guess I've "violated" an imaginary rule fro your CA temple. i love how you project these pseudo-spirital CA vibes onto all. or you cannot handle just being a random Joe amongst 8 billion of us.
