Perez Hilton presses online for gay celebs to come out

Because he has no life. he LITERALLY sits at a lap top all day at a coffee shop wanting to post messages as soon as something happens....real winner he is. Maybe hes just jealous because no body wants HIM??

You pretty much nailed that one. I can't stand that ugly piece of shit

His 15 minutes should be just about up.
I hope when he's job hunting he has to confront someone he "outted" (before they were ready).
Not only Life can be a bitch.

omg...I can NOT fucking STAND him! It's so damn wrong for him to do that shit! How the hell can he make it his business to out other gay people? What the fuck kind of sick shit is that? And over the internet? That's how Lance's mom found out he's gay. I hate catty gay shit. That's fucking petty. He needs a life.

I hate that bitch!
No one has the right to out anyone or create an atmosphere where by someone has to do damage control because of rumors about their sexuality.
(Tom Cruise. Rickey Martin etc)
If you are gay and prefer to live in the closet, that is your absolute right.
I only hope Hilton goes to far, gets sued, losses everything and we a rid of his ugly face forever. Bitter? you bet I am. I absolutely hate this outing thing.

While I definitely support any celebrity that has the courage to come out, no one has the right to be outing people that don't want out. That queen is a piece of shit.

What real friends could a guy like that have?
Sitting at his computer and destroying more succesful people lives and careers.
If anything he is a negative example of what "Gay" is all about.
Crusader? My ass.

I agree. Hilton has no idea what a real crusader is. His mission is personal and has nothing to do with basic human rights and non-discrimination. Money and notoriety at any price is all he cares about.

"I am never gonna take ownership of someone's coming out — that's their moment, and their decision," Hilton said

What a hypocrite! If it's "their decision" keep out of it!!!![-X

I don't understand why people get so angry and hate people for wanting others to be honest.

Because it's no one's business. If I don't want to tell you my shoe size, you're not going to know my shoe size. You have no right to badger me or sneak into my closet to find out my shoe size. If someone doesn't want other people to know about their sex life, so be it. Like Perez said himself, "it's their decision".

What do you think would happen if someone were being interviewed on TV because they witnessed an accident and in the middle of the interview the reporter asked "...and is it true you are in a homosexual relationship?" It wouldn't fly. That random person's sexual orientation has as no less to do with the accident than an actor's has to do with the movie he's promoting.

And, last but not least: not everyone is gay. What about the people he's badgering to come out who really aren't gay?

Knowing somebody is gay isn't knowing their sex life. There is a big difference. Do you consider your shoe size as important as your sexuality?

Actors / Celebrities are selling themselves. They are often making millions. They should be honest to the people they are making money from. We wouldn't accept a black celebrity pretending to be white.

Well if they aren't really gay they wont say they are gay just because people are saying they are.

I am not going to approve of people being in the closet. It amazes me how people get so angry about people wanting others to be out and not think of themselves as inferior because of their sexuality.

Perez is great. And I love him for what he does.

Once you become a celebrity. You lose your right to privacy. Simple as that.

The only thing that makes someone gay is that they have sex with people of the same gender; they are connected. And, no my shoe size is not as important as my sexuality, but if it is it's no ones business.

You're right, they are selling themselves. And, like any salesman, marketing is key. Let's face it, people are short-sighted. When that guy claimed that he had sex with Clay Aiken, some of his "fans" threatened to sue him because he was gay. It's perfectly acceptable for a rerun of "Friends" to have anti-gay jokes at any time of day, but if a show has a gay character (almost always played by a straight actor, of course) it's considered to be for "mature audiences" and must be shown after 9:00. It makes no business sense for a celebrity to come out.

Well if they aren't really gay they wont say they are gay just because people are saying they are.

That is not going to stop people like Perez Hilton who think they are gay from following them around and pestering them to come out. Clay Aiken has said 8,000,000 time that he is not gay. He's decided that while doing press for his new CD that he's not going to bother talking about it anymore. Everyone's reaction: "if he's not gay, why doesn't he just say so" and Larry King pressures him for 20 minutes to come out. Denying it does no good once people have made up their minds.

Everyone has to be comfortable with themselves. I think it's a great thing to come out, but it's also something that's very hard for some people to do. I don't understand why some people think celebrities aren't people, too.

This holds just as much weight with me as "gay people don't have the right to marry." Every person, regardless or their race, religion, sexual orientation or occupation should have the same rights. Ever think maybe this is one of the reasons so many celebrities are so damned crazy!

that pudgy piece of shit gets 2.5 million hits a day? that can't be right...that's the viewership of bill o'reilly. ugh.

If Perez Hilton was encouraging faggots to be pussy coward closet cases he would be probably celebrated as a hero here... but since he is doing the opposite its all hate and stupid comments about his appearance.

I personally find it amusing that when post-coming out episodes of Ellen originally aired on ABC, they had parental warnings and said it was for "mature audiences" and the same episodes today rerun on Oxygen are rated TV-G.
