2 Dachshunds (One name Pongo and the other Moossey)
1 Turtle (Named The Turtle)
Hundreds of fish (Which are now dead)

Gawd, where the hell do I start?

My first pet was a German Shepherd. And of course we've had 10,000 cats.

I was the family "animal collector", bringing home any stray that would cross my path. I would also find injured wild animals and bring them home too. A frog with a broken leg, a mouse that had just escaped the jaws of a cat, snakes, turtles, rabbits, squirrels and even a baby raccoon. I'm sure there are more but I can't think of anymore right now.

Actual pets, besides dogs and cats, I've had hundreds of rats. Mice too, but mostly rats. I eventually had to give that up, I got sick of watching them all die from mycoplasma (a form of pneumonia that's very common in rats).

As of right now I have 2 Dachshund's and 2 budgies. I've also had several cockatiels.

I've had a lot of pets over the years mostly fish, but now there is only one pet for me.

My doggie. I rescued him from a shelter last year. He's an eight, or i guess now, nine year old begle/lab mix named snickers. He is the most adoreable dog ever.

Yea for happy light heartedness.

My first pet was blackie. He was a black lab. He got worms and was sent to "the farm."

Second were kk and fubar. They puppies, and from there we got midnight. We moved to Missouri and had to give all three away, but to the same people.

Then came thor. He was a secret, and when my grandpa found out about him we had to give him back.

After that was tweetie. Tweetie suffered a tragic death. She was frozen to death next to an open window one fall. Poor bird.

After tweetie we got wishbone. We had to give him to my uncle though, because my grandpas dog (Spudsy) was too mean to him and wishbone was always nervous.

After wishbone I had some fish (died) and a turtle (that lasted a few days, I was scared it was starving to death b/c it wouldn't eat anything, so I released it back into the woods).

Then we moved to Belgrade, and got sally. Sally had puppies, and we kept two. I can't remember their names, but once my mom divorced her second husband we had to get rid of them because we had to move back to potosi.

After that there were no pets for about a year, then we got pootie. Pootie was supposed to be my dog and love me the most, but he didn't. After a while we took in baby girl, and baby girl and pootie had puppies, and we kept one, his name was puppy.

Puppy was really neat, but he got run over and is buried next to the shed out back.

Baby girl and pootie had another set of puppies, and we kept two for a while. Bubby and Bru bru.

Bubby is my baby. I bottle fed him pretty much from birth and he follows me around and sleeps with me and gets protective over me and stuff.

Bru Bru was really cute. We gave him to my step brother (oldest one) and his wife.

I also had a betta in 2004. The pet store guy told me if I got two tetra it wouldn't bother Mr. Betta, so I got them and put them in the same tank. Mr. Betta stopped eating his food, and started eating tetra. Oops.

After that I put Mr. Betta (satan) in solitary confinement (his own betta tank) and he lived out the rest of his

I was mad that he ate my tetra, so in january 2005 my mom bought me 5 $0.28 goldfish from walmart. They lived in a tiny tank, along with an ugly black fish. One of them died (i think i murdered it because I thought it had fish tuberculosis but I now believe it was just a fungus. Oh well. He died for the sake of the others.), the other four are still living well.

Ugly black fish did die though, so I got another one, and in december 2006 there was an ice storm and the power was out for about 4 days and ugly black fish got too cold in the water and froze to death, but really what could I do? The power was out and it was freezing.

I got another ugly black fish. It's smaller and I'm not as afraid of it.

That's all so far :)

Doves
Budgies
Cockatiels

Currently I just have two elderly rats, and three mice, but I don't intend getting any more pets after these.

I remember when me and my siblings were growing up, my mother kept two little "lap dogs". They would barely let any of us go near her unless she told them to get down. I still think the bitch used them as a way to keep a distance between herself and us kids!

We've always kept cats, some persian cats as my dad used to like to breed them but mostly ordinary run of the mill cats.

I have one cat now who was origionally my sisters who had a breakdown and couldn't cope with herself nevermind a cat. She is the sweetest little cat in the world and me and my partner spoil her.

In the future i'd love a dog but we live quite high up in a flat so maybe when we move out. I know for sure though that I won't be getting a tiny little lap dog.

when i was a kid i had two little turtles..but..uhm...they kinda turned into turtle soup not so long after we bought them ^^''' it wasn't on purpose i swear!!! how should i have known i wasn't supposed to put them on the stove?!!
well....later my grandfather bought me a rabbit, it lived to become quite old actually ^^ it's name was 'miep' , it was a black dwarf-rabbit.. it was good company ^^ ..although...it did bite and even the dog was scared of it ^^''
oh well! when i get my own place, which shouldn't be too long from now, i wanna get one of these; akita inu

I forgot! My brother used to "adopt" lizards from outside, so we always had a lizard! Except when we had cats of course!

Now I have a cat, I would some day like to have a dog. Maybe another pet goat!

My doggie. I rescued him from a shelter last year. He's an eight, or i guess now, nine year old begle/lab mix named snickers. He is the most adoreable dog ever.

Oh, let me think... my first pet was a little russet-and-white mutt called Rusty Mack, who got run over by a semi right in front of me when I was five.

After that my sister and I had a pair of dark mutt puppies from a neighbor called Mustard and Whistlepig who disappeared mysteriously. After that, My mother rescued a beautiful black lab who'd been run over by a sports-car, nursed her back to health, and called her Coffin (actually, she first named her Black Magic but decided that was Satanic, then renamed her Coffee, but eventually corrupted it to Coffin... which was creepy and fun for a black dog with a white cross on its chest). Coffin was a smart and resourceful dog, she lived to be fifteen before she was poisoned during a malathion saturation in the great fruit-fly epidemic of '81.

Before that happened, we'd picked up a very pretty sheltie at a roadside stand on one of our road-trips, and my sister called her Chips after the TV show. When Chips got knocked up by every dog in the neighborhood and delivered eleven puppies that didn't look remotely alike, I got to keep one for my very own, a little white puppy with a black patch over one eye who I called Alexander; he died of food-poisoning a few months later (mother fed the dogs some left-over omelettes from a brunch buffet, and three of them died). Chips lived to a ripe old age, until she got run over trying to cross a highway after Mother moved up to Jamestown.

Mother also had various mottled cats, all of whom were called Calico for obvious reasons; one of them scratched me and infected me with tuberculosis, causing me to have a lymph node surgically removed from under my chin and leaving a nasty scar. I've loathed cats ever since.

When my father married my stepmother, along with two step-sisters I suddenly found myself related to a huge and remarkably stupid golden lab called Trippin and a tiny gray cockapoo called Fluffy; they both died at fairly old ages, sometime or other in the 70s. Later on, my stepmother's mother started raising Chinese shar-peis, smelly ill-tempered brutes, and we had two litter-runts called Chubby and Dim-Sum. God, I loathed those dogs! She had them for a good fifteen years each before they took their places in doggie hell.

In my teenage years, after I moved in with Grandmother, my sister and I bought a parakeet for our Grandfather, who had ceased talking by then... quite to our surprise, he was actually moved to speak, naming the bird Moe. But poor Moe died of starvation after Grandmother went on a trip; I was left in charge of feeding Moe while she was gone, and did so faithfully, but when she returned she thought I was still feeding him while I naturally assumed she had resumed feeding him, and the poor thing dropped off his perch after a couple of weeks. As an adult, I had a finch who I also named Alexander and also starved to death after I forgot he was there... I'd gotten so used to his chirping that I didn't even notice him anymore.

After my Grandfather died, my uncle gave Grandmother a lhasa-apso puppy from his dog Tippy's litter; Grandmother named her Maggie. She was a cute little thing, but yapped almost incessantly. When she was seven, she went blind for no apparent reason. About a year later, she fell off a balcony at my uncle's house, she'd followed Tippy upstairs and couldn't find the way back down, so she just followed the voices through the railing and fell, breaking her back on a planter. Grandmother decided to have her put down rather than have to live paralyzed and blind.

That was almost eight years ago, and we haven't had any pets since then, until I bought these two turtles in Chinatown five months ago. I named them Claudius and Agrippa. Agrippa died after six or seven weeks, but Claudius is thriving. I have great hopes for his survival, though he's not a very cuddly pet... in fact, he always hides under his rock when he sees me.

Hmmm....

Horses - 5 plus my cousin's two horses for a while
Pony - belonged to the neighbor, but hung out at our house
Dogs - 3... at least (plus my ex's dog who I lived with for 2 years)
Cats - probably at least a dozen
Hamsters - half a dozen at various times
Birds - 2 or 3
Fish - dozens... gold fish, guppies, etc.

I think that's it.

I don't have any pets of my own, but my parents have a dog and a cat and my brother and his girlfriend have two cats that I snuggle with (even though I'm a little allergic).

Terri (a Fox Terrier). She was a member of my family the longest out of any pet -- probably about 14 years.

Ming (a chocolate-point Siamese cat).

Smokey (a grey cat).

Sammie and muffin (first two cats)
buffy(white rabbit)
wild thing and henry(second two cats)
guinea(guinea pig whos actual name was melody but everyone called her guinea)
Prince (kitty, who and henry are our pets right now.)

and a whole bunch of fish in a manmade(well actually mostly made by mom) backyard pond.
