People who use "crap" in the title of a post, but then go on to say "shit" in said post.

Everyone knows it's "bat-shit crazy." "Bat-crap crazy" just sounds weird.

bat crap rhymes?

What?

I need a drink...

It's only 3:30. I don't want to perceived as a drunk.

Too late for that, I bet...

I hate making small talk with people I could care less about. Just because you may know me from some obscure reference, doesn't mean I have to give you the time of day for anything.

i don't like relatives adding me on facebook
i don't like keeping touch with old friends, your not relevant to me now so i don't need to try to become close again

My pet peeve is slow checkout lines. I end up counting the minutes I'm losing in my life.

splat, the simple answer to that moron is to look him straight in the eyes and say (in a clinical and professional manner) if you need to ask that question, then yes, yes he is. deliver a tight smile and drop the subject.:p

Whistling. Whether it's whistling a tune or whistling to get someone's attention. Get's under my skin like fingernails on a chalk board.

Killjoys who can't simply move with the spirit of a light-hearted conversational flow.

Any volume control with numbers, like my TV for example, HAS to be on an even number. ALL the time, every time. I can't stand it when it's on an odd number and for the life of me, I have no idea why.
I'm glad I'm not the only one... Although in my case, I do know why. Good ol' OCD...

I HATE THAT!!!!!!
Of course if you reveal that it is a pet peever they will just do it more often .

i hate dirty dishes in the sink over night

Yep. In general I really don't like when people (coworkers, roommate) don't just wash dishes when they dirty them. It's so much easier to just WASH THE DISH when you're done with it, than to let them pile up in the sink until it's a monstrous chore that you never want to get around to doing. I'd rather her leave the pile of dishes than soak them and leave. My roomie isn't home much lately, and while she's been getting better about dishes (very much :D) she'll leave the ones she doesn't have time to finish soaking in the sink... It starts to smell. Yuck.

Also despise talking on the phone...

My #1 peeve is things sticking to my bare feet. There is nothing that irritates me more, and I'm not sure why. I can't walk around my apartment barefoot because my roommate has the MESSIEST indoor cat who strews litter everywhere. It's especially gross when it's cat litter sticking to my feet.

#2 is loose hair. Unfortunately for me, my roommate has long black hair. Constantly wiping it out of the bathtub with paper towels, sweeping it up off the floor, finding it everywhere. Yuck yuck yuck I hate dislodged hair, especially if it's long.

Love this thread GL. Sometimes, it's nice to just vent. Perhaps some people really don't ever get annoyed, but I tend to think they're just faking all that laid back stuff. That, or they never leave their house, don't have a job, and have no relatives. ;)

For me, I'm annoyed by my grandmother and mother who insist on calling or emailing updates about television shows and celebrities. Seriously, when Kate and Jon (from Kate Plus 8 or something like that) announced they were divorcing, my mother called to tell me in the middle of a work day. I had no idea who Kate and Jon were. I mean, why do I care if they're getting a divorce. Are they relatives I don't know about. Do they need a divorce lawyer cause I'm not interested in that battle. I was so confused and couldn't figure out what she was talking about.

My grandmother is even worse. She calls to tell me when t.v. shows are coming on. Big Brother must be over b/c I'm no longer getting those calls.

It's silly to be annoyed by their behavior, but I'm sick to explaining that no, I don't watch television so I don't know what happened on Survivor. ](*,)

Having some one tell you to call them at a certin time and then they don't answer.:rotflmao: And they know who they are..

Hmmm...was it a fella who's playing mind games? You know what I mean (that was for you Google) the guy wants you to call but he tries to be cool by being busy/unavailable when you do call.
