Photos that make you go....

Currently... I think walkabout's photo hit the spot!!! Today has been so damn busy all I have had is coffee all day. Ok.. I'm finished crying now lol.

Out of all these pics I think my faveorite is the one of the guys kissing in the water. There's just someting about kissing that's so sweet. But why is the water so brown?? It looks like their kissing in shit. Meh...whatever floats your boat.

Nah mate... thats sand being stirred up by the waves... they're right on the waters edge... could be a nasty case of chaffing later but right now thats the last thing on their minds... beautiful huh....!oops!

Yep... he is GL... my eyes didnt hurt a bit looking at him...

And Surge... your guy is welcome on just about any thread I'd reckon...:D

I love this pukka pie advert.

I'm not sure you have pukka pies in the states, but they're a pie company, and virtually every single Fish&Chip shop sells them (at least in the North of England where I live).

I have someone in the F&C industry, so I got one of these posters, they're three feet high by two feet wide.

Sometimes its the story with the image that gets me...

I mean this guy is good to look at true, but the story posted with it was a very personal account of a gay guys struggle with depression (another thread here got me thinking) and his struggle with his identity, self hatred and his battle to reconcile all the aspects of his life - which being gay had seemingly thrown into chaos.

So this photo takes on a different light...one of struggle...questioning... longing for answers - at least for me anyway.

Oh... and the guy is ok. He's through the worst of it. He made the decision to be true to himself, to accept who he was and to let some of the pieces fall where they may. Hes surrounded by friends and family who love him and support him... the him that he always was.

Like all of us theres always more work to do... but hes one brave guy.

Ooo, I like that last one posted, Tallguy297, the dude sitting down, lookin out the window.

I sortof eyed the shot before reading what you typed along with it, but just seeing the picture I sortof got the same thing from it.

I identified with the shot, feeling a soldier who's seen a little bit of the world- some ugly, some pretty. And taking time just to re-evaluate things, and my thoughts on the world around me. The shot reminds me of the quiet times inbetween talking with people, and being out in the world in general.

Time of recollection. I love it, although it's black/grey/ and white, it doesn't depress me one bit. It's more inspirational to me. He looks a little worn, but prepared to keep on keepin on. The sun's shining in the room- on his face, so the picture doesn't seem lonely or tragic to me.

I saved the pic, it's beautiful.
