And for those who like vintage pics, the second Prime Minister of Australia, Alfred Deakin (1856-1919). Always thought he had a nice twinkle in the eye.

Here's Joe Hockey on an Australian news panel show, "The Project", offering to kiss the leader of the then (2011) Queensland state opposition party for charity. The conservative Campbell Newman went on to win the election in the state of Queensland. The promised kiss hasn't happened (and given the Queensland premier's stance on gay marriage and homosexuality) isn't ever likely to. Hockey's conservative party has opposed gay marriage in Australia, as have the current reigning Labor party.
