Have you every tried pineapple pie? I chop up maraschino cherries and add to the pie and substitute some brown sugar for some of the regular sugar

I do a simple one that is good with salty tortilla chips...or even served on grilled chicken of fish.


tiny diced pineapple
tiny diced red onion
tiny diced red bell pepper or any variation of peppers with heat
minced fresh garlic
tiny squeeze of honey
juice of half a lime or more.

Mix and chill

Thats strange. My ShopRite carries it all the time. You can get a breast of trout...a leg of salmon or even flounder thighs. Their always out of the cod wings though.

Next weeks special is boneless pork loin of pheasant. I doubt it will fit under a glass though.
