* Best Pop Vocal Pefrormance, Female, "Who Knew"

I heard I'm Not Dead did badly in America but was one of the WORLD top 10 albums for an age (it is very good).

If she does win, it should either be for Who Knew or a common sense award for Stupid Girls.

Initially in 2006, I'm Not Dead in the US was a pretty disappointing venture for Pink. It dropped out of the Billboard 200 after selling only 600k-700k. Fortunately U+Ur Hand was released and was a big hit on the radio resurrecting the project back into the top 50. Who Knew then became a hit as well helping to keep steady sales throughout 2007. As of 2 weeks ago I'm Not Dead sat at #104 on the Billboard 200 selling 9,296 copies and had total sales amounting to 1,066,084. A platinum album is nothing to scoff at during these dire times in the music industry.

Personally, I bought I'm Not Dead based on the strength of U+Ur Hand and Who Knew, plus the good reviews. I was pretty disappointed with the album though. I love the singles she released (Stupid Girls, U+Ur Hand, and Who Knew), but other than that Leave Me Alone (I'm Lonely) and Dear Mr. President are the only other songs that did anything for me.

I don't think it did THAT bad here - but it did SO much better overseas, which tells you alot about the bullshit that people in the US would rather listen to.

Sometimes, i wish i lived in Canada... wait, thats a whole other topic...

*ahem*

Rock Vocal for U + Ur Hand? Love Pink, but that's more a poppy song... ah well, hope she wins anyway!

Come on now! NARAS gave Pink the Grammy for Best Rock Vocal Peformance for the #68 hit "Trouble" in 2004.

The #9 hit "U + Ur Hand" is far more deserving and when you compare it to "Who Knew," it's very obvious which one is more rocking.

Some years, Grammy merges the sexes so this year we may see Pink going up against The Shins, Bruce Springsteen and Beck.

U & Ur Hand can't win a Grammy because it wasn't submitted.

Yeah, Im a huge fan! She better win something. I actually really like the whole album..except for Conversations with my 13 year old Self and that last one with her dad.
Hey is Nobody Knows a single? that songs better in my opinion.

Dear Mr. President should have been a single.

It was in Britain. It was a double A Download only single with Leave me Alone (I'm lonely) It got to 20 without ever being physically released, which shows it could have done really well if they did.

Nobody Knows is definitely the most Grammy worthy song on that album, and should've been a worldwide single. I believe it was a single only in Europe and Australia.
