Pop star Pink has set an Oct. 28 release for her as-yet-untitled fifth album. The LaFace/Zomba set is led by the single "So What," which will hit radio early next month and digital outlets shortly thereafter.

The song was co-written by Pink and produced by Max Martin, who was behind the artist's prior hits "Who Knew" and "U + Ur Hand." The video will be directed by Dave Meyers, who previously worked with Pink on clips for "U + Ur Hand" and "Stupid Girls."

Pink will promote the new video during stints as the guest commentator on MTV's "FNMTV" on Friday (July 25) and Aug. 1.

Other album collaborators include Butch Walker, Billy Mann and EG White. The new set is the follow-up to 2006's "I'm Not Dead," which has sold 1.3 million copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

This should be an interesting Fall. Christina and Beyonce are also releasing albums.

I loved I'm Not Dead, I hope it's at least AS good.

I hope she didn't work with Dr Luke this time. He got old fast.

Can't wait for the album, though. I like most of her stuff, especially I'm Not Dead.

Isn't Dr. Luke that same guy that worked on Kelly Clarkson's album?

As long as it's along the same rails as I'm not dead. Try this sucked. She's growing into her own musical style and I hope that continues.

Damn, i thought Try This was a fantastic album...

yeah Im Not dead was killer, hopefully this next album is good...

and knowing pink, shes gonna switch it up and try something different.

I'm Not Dead is one of my favourite albums ever so I am really looking forward to this.

I know he produced Since U Been Gone with Max Martin. Everything they do together has the exact same sound, this song in particular:

He's repetitive as hell. That's why I never enjoyed U+Ur Hand and Who Knew that much... just more SUBG rip-offs, except better cause they're Pink's.

Cool i'm excited i loved Try this and I'm not dead the only song of hers i don't like though is U + Ur hand. I just hope she doesn't go further down the kelly Clarkson road.

I'm Not Dead has been her best work to date. Hoping for something as good or better.

As for her earlier stuff... I only liked Missundaztood. I listened to Can't Take Me Home and it sounds not even human half the time in addition to it just not being her style. Try This was just an unfortunate misdirection (I have stronger words for it but I doubt they'll be received well).

Marleyisalegend: Totally. Granted, the majority of her fanbase is 13-19 year old girls, and granted she apparently had some major issues in middle school, but she's getting too old for that now. At least move on to high school, lady ;-)
