Pins and needles on fingers and numbness on shoulder won’t go that away

Hi. I have been feeling numbness on my right shoulder and hand.

My right hand fingers feel like “pins and needles”.

My right shoulder and arm feel numb and weak.

This has been going on for more than a week.

I don’t understand why.

In the past, if I have “pins and needles” on my hands,fingers, they went off quickly.

But now, the numbness and “pins and needles” keep coming and staying on my right hand fingers, arms and shoulder.

It went off for a while and comes back again.

I am very scared and worried. Is this a sign of something serious??

one or two thing s , have you have you had a shot in that arm.Last week i had a shot in my arm.later during the day it went numb. If so so it may be the reason why it is going numb. If not go to a walk in clinic to get checked out. also it could be a pinched nerve.

I have a shot ,but it was many many weeks ago. I can't remember if it is right or left arm.

If it is a pinched nerve, how do I fix it ? What is the possible treatment for it?

if it is a pinched nerve , It will clear up within a few weeks if not surgery is needed.

The surgery will be on which part of my body? The hand, shoulder or etc.....???

Do I need to see a doctor first?

I am very scared and don't really want to go for surgery.

I have a referal letter to see a neuroscience doctor at the hospital. I have an upcoming appointment to see a neuroscience doctor at the hospital.

But recently, the pins and needles seem to have go away.

My right shoulder and hand is fine now.

I guess the pins and needles was just temporary and I was worrying too much?

Anyway, my right shoulder and hand seems fine now.
