I think the funny part was whenever I was in Angel Pine, near Mount Chiliad. I would hop into an old looking truck and K-Rose was always playing on the radio. It was like that was the default station in the area.

I never noticed that lol. Gotta love stereotypes though. i even love the Scottish guy from the darkness 2. he was every negative stereotype of my country and i loved him for it.

Anyone try the Dragons Dogma demo?

I did, it is interesting. I liked the gameplay, specially using the bow... 8-)

One thing I didn't like is that everything was a bit too dark, I expected slightly prettier graphics. Even with gamma settings set to maximum lightning. Then again it's just personal taste - I'm one of the very few people who hated Demon's Souls, for example, so your mileage may vary.

I'll probably still grab this game, as I cannot list a single Capcom game I don't like - I love Street Fighter, Darkstalkers, Rival Schools, Lost Planet, Monster Hunter, Marvel vs. Capcom, Resident Evil... god, everything these guys do ends up good. (*S*)

Yeah i thought it was ok too. The screen was pretty clustered up with text and stats. it would be great if Capcom released a monster hunter over here on PS3. But I hate how anti consumer Capcom have been the last few years.

Yeah I think Capcom has been leaving me with a bad taste if my mouth and it's not just Capcom but other companies who keep releasing these Season passes and DLC that are not even worth the season pass.

PS3 120GB slim model. My favorite PS3 games are probably Final Fantasy XIII, Super Street Fighter IV, Street Fighter x Tekken.

I like too many games, however, so it is difficult to only pick a few! I love collecting trophies for every game I play. :gogirl:

You can never like too many games!

So, has anyone here played Dead Space 2? I've been meaning to try it, but I've also been hearing that it's basically just a cut and paste copy of part 1. Even if that's true, I'll probably still get it.

i read how the guy in charge of Street Fighter x Tekken on the PS VITA was unhappy and "disappointed" that people hacked the game and got access to the DLC characters. They are already on the disk but locked until the DLC is available to purchase. They dis the same with Resi 5, the multiplayer was on the disk but you would need to pay to "download" as DLC.

Yeah I had the problem with buying a damn Versus DLC on RE5 and I think that it sucks that they will probably keep a lot of good features on RE6 and most likely use it so everyone will have to pay for it. You pay $60 dollars for the game you should at least get what you paid for.

Even though capcom are being bastards I'm still looking forward to Resi 6 haha. and MAD i keep meaning to try Dead Space 2, the first was actually ok

I agree about dead space theReckless. It felt really claustrophobic in some of those hallways. I know I'm late to the party but i got Batman Arkham City and it was fucking epic haha. I liked the first one but actually improved alot of stuff but kept the feel of Arkham Asylum. What does everyone else think?

So took me five days to notice that they were giving the DLC for Uncharted 2 for free. That was a real treat kind of sucks since I paid money for the Siege missions and the Hero Skin pack. Anyways I downloaded the rest and now I can safely say I have all the DLC. Now if they can just give away DLC for Uncharted 3 for free!

i loved it but i felt that some of the 'side missions' were a really cheap attempt at trying to pad it out. mainly the collection and Riddler ones - i never got round to finishing the Riddler side-quest because it was so much effort. some of the others were really good though.

Yeah having a type of obsessive disorder like I do means i had to find every single one of those bloody trophy's and riddles haha. God there was so many i was almost rocking back and forth muttering "no more no more no more"

Same, I was actually making a pretty good attempt at it too, but then I got sucked into another game instead (I can't even remember which one). Has been ages since I bought a game on PS3.

yeah, I dont really have any intention of buying a new game anytime soon. Nothing is getting me excited :(

I can't believe what a disappointment Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City is. They built it up like it was going to be the greatest RE game since before they changed everything. (RE4 and RE5) Yes, I can't help it, I'm a fan boy of the old RE series. I don't care for Las Pleaugeas or Uroburos or whatever they're called. #-o Anyway, back to RE:ORC. Well, for having a shooter engine, the aiming system was rather sloppy. After that, we have the idiotic AI. You play with a small unit of people which run around aimlessly and most of the time hinder rather than help you. They end up dying a lot, so they're kind of a burden sometimes. That's another thing that I didn't like. It takes away the drama and suspense of knowing your comrades might die when you can just revive them after they've been decapitated. The only good thing about RE: ORC is the multiplayer modes, and even those could be much better. I'll probably keep playing the multiplayer until I get tired of it, which I see happening sooner rather than later. I should have known something was wrong when I found out that it was only $40. #-o

I have the 320 Slim Uncharted 3 bundle as well. It's my first time back gaming since I was a junior in HS (I got rid of my Xbox 360 so I could study more).

Well then I guess that makes me a fan boy of the old Resident Evil series, I couldn't stand Resident Evil 4 and 5. Most people said that's when the games started getting good. But to be honest most of those people who tell you that RE4 was most likely their first RE game and when they played the older games they found it boring because it had no action in it.

I hear bad things about RE: ORC, like how they tried to make it look like the classic RE games but it ended up too much like an action game, I will pass or wait until I see the game in the $20 bin.

Yes! I'm glad to hear from another fan boy! ..| I picked up Resident Evil one a long time ago and have been hooked on the series since. Well, until 4 and 5 anyway. Apparently, no one can appreciate a game which requires you to think by solving puzzles anymore. The old RE series had great story as well. Don't get me wrong, 4 and 5 could be good games, just not under the RE brand. On the other hand, there are games that take action way overboard. The thing that made RE4 the absolute disappointment that it is, is that the RE writers just decided to end Umbrella like it was some fragile company because "Umbrella's stocks fell". What a load of crap.
