What % of gays are single ?
(never partnered with a guy, partnered with a girl doesn't count)

I think maybe 90% of gays are single ?


** The question is for western gays or gays living in a country where homo sex is legal.
** I'm quite sure 99% of straight people are married/partnered/divorced ...

Of course gay guys had lots of sex with many guys but rarely partnered? That is why i ask.

Although out gays are more vocal, do not be deceived about the incidence in the general population. I argue that the assumed promiscuity of gays is a product of the most vocal constituencies. And, the assumed promiscuity of straights is likewise a bias that doesn't hold up in light of actual lives and the social pattern of monogamous pairing. The monogamous are more "boring" and do not garner attention in proportion to the numbers.

about straight guys promiscuity or not, they are 99% partnered (including divorced).
My question is about how many % of gays are partnered? I guess is only 10% of gays are.

It depends on a lot of factors. Mainly their weight.

I read somewhere that about 50% of all people are married/partnered.

As for only gay people, not too sure. I'm guessing 10-20%.
