Thanks, you better believe I'm giving it a lot of thought! It's of a great concern to me. Even as a (future) European I know that blacking out the internet will have a huge effect on me wherever I am.

Also, it gives people with way too much power even more power. It's institutionalised mafia really.

you may of heard about SOPA/PIPA which is nothing more than a corporate power grab, remind them the internet belongs to people, not corporations, and if we wanted, we could shut down their internet if WE dont like what THEY do, not the other way around. if they want to use the internet, they have to play by OUR rules, they cannot turn the internet into a corporate dictatorship.
if people dont voice their opposition NOW, we may never have another chance to keep the internet from becoming a corporate owned monopoly.
