I have uverse and didn't know I even had this channel called Pivot. Well, I did a search and there it was. Please Like Me is on tonight for two episodes at 7 and 7:30. I'll watch, could be fun. Thanks

Haha, love Josh Thomas. I first saw him on a comedy show called "talkin' bout your generation" hes so awkward and cute in a funny way.
 
Please Like Me is fantastic. I loved it when it aired over here earlier this year. I was so pissed that it was shunted to ABC2 based on the "gayness" of its content. Josh Thomas is a crack up, awkward, nervous, and I love John the Dog.

I thought the scripts were really tight, and extremely funny and the cast were perfect. I heard a rumour the other day now it's been picked up by the US channel the second season looks like a sure thing. I really hope so. Please Like Me is one of the freshest tv shows Australia has had in years.
 
you have to have Pivot which of course Time Warner here is not carrying---but it looks good---have to catch it another way

I don't know, it's just me I guess. Hearing things like 'Please like me!' or 'Love me!' or 'Tell me I'm good!' seems to evoke this overly attached daughter-father thing which makes me uneasy - especially that I have a colleague who seems to have paternal attachment problems.

I have it on DVD, glad to know it's been commissioned for a 2nd season too!

Saw Josh at the Melbourne Comedy Festival this year too, and loved it.
