Please tell me someone else is watching American Horror Story!!

I know that the doctor said that one of the babies was stillborn but I don't believe that because Constance passed it off to crazy hole in her head lady who's a good actress but she cries too much (I don't know her name). So I think that it's still alive.

It prolly is dead, which is all the better for Nora as being dead is not a limitation in this house ;)

Nora. That's her name! Well, whatever gets her to stop crying. I'm getting sick of that crap. She's a good actress, but I can't deal with the constant sobbing.

One thing that always had annoyed me about this show, and will bug me if it continues next year.....is that from one scene to another, it seems that pages were ripped out of the script, and never filmed. Characters will have an emotional scene, or a dramatic event happens, then, bingo...next scene, same characters, no reference to what just happened before. New scenes, new emotions. Ben in one episode finally sees Moria as the older spirit she finally is, shocked look on face,...then ...next scene, the next episode.....nothing. No mention of "hey, our maid just went from young and hot, to old, right in front of me!"

True that. And do you remember in one of the first episodes when Violet walked in on Ben and Moira in the sofa? That was NEVER mentioned after that scene. I guess you can add that to the crazyness of the house, like you never know what's real and what's not but still I need an explanation.

About this episode, I thought it was good but nothing out of the ordinary. I keep asking myself, just like others have written here, what are they gonna do next season to make it different and keep the mystery going?

Another thing that I don't really understand is how all ghosts have different characteristics. I mean, sometimes it seems like they can only appear in the shape they were when they died (burnt, or Nora with a big hole behind her head) but other times they can change however they want or they change like Tate and Ben's mistress changing their clothes, and Moira who died young having aged! Like WTF! A ghost aging? Oh and a ghost who aged and is able to create an illusion that she's young whenever she needs it.

Actually, Violet mentioned it a couple of weeks ago. While arguing with her father, she said something like, "What is wrong with you? Getting it on with an old woman? You're such a pervert I'm surprised you haven't tried anything with me yet."

I love this show, but if I am going to continue to love it, I will have to teach myself to take it less seriously. I am beginning to realize that there are a lot of loophole in this show that do not really blend, and conflict, if you think about it too carefully. So from here out I am just going to view it as popcorn entertainment...;)

Actually, Violet did mention that. I think even twice. That one time that Salemite said and I think another.

But I also have no idea what they can do next season. If they decide to kill off Ben, too, which for some reason I'm sure he will die, then they will have to get a new family to move in....

I know right? It'll be interesting what the next season has in store. Honestly, I don't even want to watch the finale tonight. Its been so fun watching this show every week and I won't have anything to look forward to now lol. (I don't watch much TV these days)

I just watched the season finale and it left me speechless.

!!!SPOILER!!!

Ben dies. The whole family is reunited...as ghosts and they with some other ghosts have sworn to protect the upcoming families by scaring them away from the house. Meanwhile, the Antichrist baby starts growing older...and satanic...

!!!end of SPOILER!!!

What are they going to do for the next season??? A new family? A new mystery? Are they going to change the whole cast or even the whole story concept? There are many questions unanswered (like the baby addiction thing, wth?, and the Antichrist thing) but it's hard to see through the mist.

Even from episode 5 or 6 I have been puzzled. I keep seeing the series as a mini-series instead; it made more sense that way, that imagining 6 seasons afront.

Nevertheless, good show, good thrill. This is something in horror genre that has long died and is successfully resurrected, fresh and fleshy.

I don't see how they could do another season with a new family in the same house though. Not unless her babies are dead too. Because, if it's like living babies just in the house being raised by ghosts, that's going to be weird for the new home owners.

Client: Oh, does she come with the house?
Marcy: Yes, Moira comes with the house.
Client: [thinks about all of the bow-chicka-wow-wow they'll have]
Marcy: Oh, and you get complimentary babies, too :-]

Ben's dead girlfriend thing explained to the woman thing that wanted a baby that she can make herself seen if she wanted to. So I'm guessing, depending on the ghost's intentions or memories at the time, that if they wanted, they could change appearance as easily as they do when they appear/disappear.

Some things that happened were odd. Where were Vivian and Violet when Ben was killed? Why didn't they help him? After what happened why didnt Ben just leave then and there and come bac another time for his things? I think he wanted to die but why wouldn't he care enough to take care of the baby and why isn't Vivian more concerned about the missing baby? When people show up n your room you don't just chit chat you call for help or the police but granted the kid didn't seem to bright. One would also assume Constance has never taken the boy outside for fear of being seen and why hasn't any of the ghost tried to kill her? I bet she is at the middle of his whole house situation.

I don't mind the actors playing different characters. Garret Dillahunt played 2 different characters in Deadwood and I love Garret Dillahunt.

That last episode was great. Especially the ending with the devil child. IDK what I want from this show anymore. I'm kind of torn. But it's been good so far so I'll definitely watch season 2.

Before reading other guys opinions, I want to say I loved the finale. Great way to tie everything up. The family/maid are happy now, plan to scare any new people out of the house to save them, Tate heartbroken for eternity, and Constance dealing with the devil child.

Season two should be something completely new.

Yeah, I read about the something new. In fact, every season will be an entirely different horror story. It's like watching Twilight Zone, with each story spanning a season.

New York Times article

“The next year of the show – every season of the show – will be a different haunting,” Mr. Murphy said in a conference call with reporters. “So what you saw in the finale was the end of the Harmon house, and the second season of the show will be a brand new home or building to haunt.” He added: “Just like this year, every season of the show will have a beginning, a middle and an end.”

Too bad; I'm starting to like the creepily changing Moira already

I really really Jessica Lange, Connie Britton, and Dylan McDermott could return to the show in any role. They're really brilliant. :D

Anyway, I've learned not to think to deeply about this show so I'll just say that the finale was WAYYYYY to busy. It seemed like the content of 4 episodes was crammed into a single episode.

It's supposed to be a two-hour finale. The production however was too hectic and crammed from the start and the creators are jammed with ongoing "gLee", so they agreed to hack it down to an hour and half.

I am one of the few people who seems to be disappointed that next season will be a whole new reboot show. I watch a series, in order to be invested in the characters and watch them grow and change over time. A new show/story/cast each year sounds boring to me. Why watch a show, knowing that at the end of the season, that's it. Plus, watching some of the same actors as new characters, on the same show, will be jarring.

But, having said that......This show, from first episode to last, was fantastic! I know that there is something wrong with me for feeling a little sorry for Tate. Yes, though, he DOES deserve to be alone for the rest of eternity. And I am happy for the Harmon family, who is finally together and happy, forever. :) Constance has her hands full now with a psycho-baby-killer. She is going to have to clean up after HIS messes now. And she thought Tate was bad! LOL....

btw---to those who asked why Vivian did not try to help Ben, when Crayden (crazy Hayden) was killing him. I just watched the show on-line, and during the chaos of the scene, you DO see Vivian struggling with Hayden, but Hayden's helpers pushed Ben to his death before she could stop them.

^^ for me a new situation is better because what else is there to learn about these ghosts in this house? I think they'd grow boring doing the same old schtick.

I've enjoyed this entire season. So full of interesting twists I could not stop watching it until I was finished. I am so happy I downloaded the entire run, to watch from beginning to end.I have noticed a few ghost rules being broken but that did not detract from the overall fun of the show. I absolutely hated Tate from the beginning, I kind of suspected that there was something not quite right about him. That scene with Ben Ghost and Tate was perfect, nailed that fucker to his place. Adelaide was a very interesting element, but I could see how her character would have felt out of place towards the end. I also suspected right away that Violet had died just before she realized it. That scene when Tate went and showed her her body kind of choked me up. Ben is easily the most disgusting character on the show but Dylan is a fucking DILF, woof woof. Zachary Quinto was so queeny in the episodes, I had to laugh. Anyway, I look forward to season two. Even though it means we won't be seeing these characters again. I don't mind it because I think they ended on a good note for the Harmons. Although, that last episode was too Beetlejuice for me. :)

They really could have delved deeper into the "House" and it's characters, so I am disappointed that the show is resetting everything in a whole new environment. But I DID like this first season, and will probably watch it again in a month or two.

I kind of felt that the last episode made things seem like they would continue with those same characters. At least with that cliffhanger of an ending with the devil child. Plus, they made it seem like there was a big reason why that house attracted all this evil and why people stayed alive in it, but it never explained what the evil was.

But, something new will be good to watch, too. As long as the guy that plays as Tate comes back. I like him.
