Everyone please watch FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS tonight. Its on the verge of cancellation. So could everyone please watch it tonight at 9:00 on nbc. Its the season finale. It's an awesome show and it has a hot cast. So everyone please watch.
 
i think this is easily one of the best 2 or 3 programs on network TV... it will be a shame if it is cancelled.
 
i think it's the best program on tv. i think most people can't get over the fact that it's not really about football. if people actually saw it i think they'd love it. but also it's such a shitty timeslot. idoubt the target audience will be around to watch it. i always tivo it. but yes please keep it going it's amazing.

I don't like to watch football, but I love this show, although I liked the first season better than the current one (which is the second season). I highly recommend it.
 
I really would like to watch this show, unfortunately, I never watch a show like this so far into the series (with the exception of Desperate Housewives). I normally get hooked on shows when they have a marathon from the pilot episode, since the pilot is fresh, and there isn't any backtracking and feeling like I'm missing something.
 
The season finale is starring the executive producer (or director) Peter Berg. Good sign or bad?
 
It's the Nielsen households that determine the TV ratings, telling your buddies to watch isn't gonna change that.

NBC has to run something on Friday nights, perhaps the critical acclaim would be enough to save it, the fact that its getting beaten by repeats of other shows is not a good sign.
 
^^Exactly. You could get a thousand people to watch and it wouldn't help unless they were part of the Nielson ratings group.

Actually the newtwork has been a lot kinder to that show than a those that were cancelled witin a few weeks or months. But people just aren't interested.

I know you'll feel bad when it's cancelled, but we've all gone through that many times.
 
The show is amazing!!!! BUT WHY FRIDAYS!!!!????? I go out every friday to the club. I used to LOVE that show. It needs to come on another night. Perhaps it will get better ratings.

I believe they started airing it Fridays because a show called Friday Night Lights on a Tuesday or Wednesday was just too difficult for people to wrap their heads around for some reason.

Meanwhile, look how well putting it on Friday has done for the show.

Matt Saracen is my hero. Too bad the 'possible' series finale could end with him and Julie not even talking to each other. That seems wrong to me.

Also, I think I'm the only person who doesn't like Tim Riggins. Not that it'll ever happen, but I think Lyla and Jason were great for each other. Well, at least Jason was good for her.

About time Smash got a real storyline arc. Too bad the season ended, it was just starting to get interesting.
 
i love matty his storyline this season was kinda dumb. but at least he didnt get that nurse preggers. i wish he and julie would have reconciled.

i'm also not a riggins fan. i don't think he's that hot either. i did like when he was living with the coach though. but i hate this whole im gonna do whatever it takes to get lyla, even though her preacher bf and his family creep me out
 
I don't want to sound like a prick, but one of the reasons it was moved to Friday's is how bad it's ratings were last year. NBC thought it would be a decent move because rating expectations on Fridays are quite a bit lower then on other days.
 
Of course now they're talking shopping the series around to other networks because it's probably dead on NBC. Meanwhile shows like Cavemen, Welcome to the Captain and etc continue to be greenlit
 
NBC canceled Journeyman so they are almost dead to me, I hate investing time into a show I really like just to have it canceled.
