That makes me furious! Of course he didn’t have rabies! He lived indoors for most of his life and was domesticated! He probably bit that worker out of stress and fear from being forcibly removed from his home! Of course he’s going to be agitated and stressed out. You literally took the poor thing away from his home and made him feel unsafe! I’m even angrier because squirrels are my favorite animals and I’ve always wanted one as a pet.

As wrong as she may have been in her allegations, that was not enough to have resulted in the deaths.

If the animal control authorities had found the reported violator had valid permits and animal vaccinations, they would never even have gone to his farm.

No matter what her malice, the owner putting himself above the law remains the prime cause of the events that eventually took the animals' lives.

I won't argue that P'Nut was a pet that the couple cared about.... not enough to get the proper permits, but nevertheless he was a member of their family. However, wild animals aren't meant to be pets and the cover story was that Squirrel Daddy tried to set P'Nut free but he returned with part of his tail missing. P'Nut's tail apparently regrew judging by the recent pictures (more lies):


P'Nut was also part of their advertising for their real business- getting naked for money. If you doubt this, his OnlyFans handle is "Squirrel Daddy".

I don't use social media, so I missed the tweets and the fact that JD Vance, Trump and Don Jr were all on the stump talking about how the evil Democrats will kill your pets, et al. Once again, P"Nut was again exploited as part of someone's advertising and scamming.

The thing that really disturbs me about all of this is that this is part of how authoritarians do what they do. And with Elon Musk on the bandwagon, this story was turbocharged to fuel the outrage during an election week. And it keeps happening. And it always ends in bomb threats and death threats and massive amounts of money being paid to scammers.

In the next two years, the Trump machine is going to be beating everyone into submission by energizing the mob against anyone who stands up and fights back. We are going to return to the Days of Distraction to keep everyone mad and distracted.
