I'm using this thread to post poetry about whatever whenever I feel like it.

I don't feel like it right now.

Nah, jk, here's three to start things off. (Just keep in mind that poetry isn't my strongest suit.)

Winter

Riveting snow warming my soul

Appalling cold poisoning it

Snow angels in the day,

Turn to demons at night

"Home

Fists and kicks flying

Breaking glass, blood spilling

Futile screams for help

Oblivious children

Bred by violence

asking,

Why is mommy crying?

Shut up and sent to their rooms

Before they get theirs, too

Overkill

Empty bottles

Booze and Prozac

Vomit pouring

Dull blade

Wrists crying

Red tears

Blade carving the last breath:

“WORTHLESS”

Blood trickles from the chest

Noose embracing the neck

Warmth, the feeling of affection

Stepping on the death throne

Gun barrel kissing the temple

Cold and hard, yet welcoming

Whispering, “It’ll all be over”

Kick the throne, pull the trigger

Sweet release

You know, these work as song lyrics too. So vivid, so frightening, so worrying. These are the kind of lines that cause more questions than answer.

Bare

Look! There, in the middle of vast greenery

Two enticed bodies relishing each other

Mud and leaves decorating their fur; moisture drenching it

Basking in the rugged beauty and natural scents

Of nature and man

Away from civilization

Free to feast on each other out in the air

Their only company being one another

The only sounds that envelope them being,

Their heavy breathing and pounding flesh

The vicious crashing of a waterfall

Birds chirping, oblivious of the spectacle before them

And the eventual scream of pleasure, once climax is reached

Predator

Naïve flesh, frolicking about

Oblivious of the cold, penetrating eyes

Gazing, planning, fantasizing

Ready to strike, mangle, and feast

Vore

Eno lulling the mood

Pianos, synthesizers, harmonies

His art contemplating mine

Candles, the source of light

In the darkness

Candles, the source of flames

In your Hell

My flesh meeting yours

You cry, I laugh

My seed is planted

In you by force

Knives and forks

My friends

Your enemies

Please me, torment you

Beautiful silver platter

(Worth more than your life)

Stained in crimson

Tears

Yours of misery

Mine of pure ecstasy

Tearing you apart

Outside and in
