Good lean vegetable soups are a key to success in losing weight. As are all vegetables. It has helped me lose the weight without suffering.
I suspect that with Chrissy, doctors are going to be wanting her to lose at the rate of no more than 1 to 2 lbs per week in order not to create other health issues related to rapid weight loss. This very slow pace can be frustrating for people who need early successes.
Again, thanks to Peeonme and his suggestion of LoseIt.com, I found the perfect way to maintain a record of calorie and nutritional intake. By providing hard and relatively good data that can be adapted for accuracy, it makes planning meals and snacks easier and provides the incentive to choose foods more wisely.
Hopefully the subject of this thread can find a doctor and a coach who can help her learn more about her nutrition and metabolic function. Although, I am sure that in her case there s now also a metabolic dysfunction that also needs to be addressed.


And I am not saying be thin---I'm just saying keep your weight in a healthy spectrum.
