And the capital of Algeira is Algiers in English, Alger in French, and al-djeza'ir in Arabic.

That's the one I was thinking of when is said "It starts with 'b' and the capital is the same name as the country." The "b" stood for the "booty" suffix which, of course, would be the part I remember.

Didn't Nigeria "pull a Brasilia or an Islamabad" and build a new capital inland somewhere? I can't remember its name.

Founded by slaves expatriated from the USA - hence the name Liberia. Monroe was the President of US at the time.
