Hey guys, this may sounds like a really stupid question but I'm being very sincere. I'm just wondering who all out there would do porn if they could. Would you? I wonder what it would do for your chances at other jobs and such. For example, very few modeling agencies that do high fashion, runway, or commerical accept people who have done porn. That's what happened to the dude from Scary Movie 3 (or 4?), the farmhand in the "Signs" parody. He tried to be an MTV Vj and got denied. I'm a HUGE fan of Corbin Fisher and have wanted to audition for them for a while now but just don't have the balls to go through with it. Still...lol...it's hiding out there in my mind. Any thoughts?

I guess it all depends on what you want to do in the future. If you want to be some sort of actor or performer, it may not be a good idea to do porn. But if you don't plan on doing a job in which it could come back to bite you I say why not. Im sure it could be a lot of fun.

I personally would probably not do it just because once you do it, its done, and I usually have to psych myself up to do anything that I would not be able to just erase if I wanted to in the future.

Remember, they cant just not give you a job because you were in porn. You just have to decide if you want a life in porn or if it would be a one time thing.

I've definitely thought about doing porn, (don't we all?) but just don't think I can commit for reasons such as these, and having my family find out. But I have met a few of the big stars, and they love what they have done.
 
I have friends who have done porn and now it floats around on the net and they kind of just wish it would go away. Not that it has really caused them any real problems, but it is just over and you know how those vintage clips keep cropping up? I think they can see that 20 years from now it will still be there. Personally, I have no problem with anyone doing it. I mean, hell, I watch it so I am taking part in that whole economy! It's just something you shouldn't do without a lot of thought.

I have another friend who still does it and loves doing it! So everyone is different. But, remember, things in life change and you may look back on something you did with regret.

As for you! WOW! You would def have the look to do it! That wouldn't stand in your way. Try doing some amatuer stuff with a friend for yourself. Keep it awhile and see if you really like watching yourself or anyone esle watching you.

Like others have said, it all depends on your future plans. There is still a stigma attached to porn(being in front of the camera, that is) and once you've done a video or photo shoot, it is forever. If you aspire to be a mainstream actor, politician(in the USA) etc., porn wouldn't be a wise choice.
It isn't for everyone - if in doubt, don't.
 
I don't think you should do it, personally. It's not like I look down on people who do porn, because like the guy above said, I watch it too. I just don't think it's worth ruining other opportunities you may want to try in the future. You're already a model/actor - do you want that to go down the drain?

At least think about it for a while...
 
Wow, thanks everyone who has responded so far. You've definitely helped me figure some stuff out and plot the pros vs cons on this idea. I do plan to go into an occupation where I'll be a public figure, so based on what you've said (and my own personal ruminations), I agree it would be unwise to go into porn, even if just to pay off school. I can't take back what I put out there, and who knows what pictures or videos would haunt me years down the road (no matter HOW hot the actor is). I need to stop watching Corbin Fisher, 'cause DAMN everytime I see TJ I want to do it lol. Someone earlier sounds like they're in the same boat as I am since I'm such a closet exhibitionist but there's no real outlet for that kind of stuff, especially since I don't have a bf to do home movies or anything with. As to the dude who says I already do porn based on my pics...bro, I was horny and bored one afternoon and the pics work damn well to find a quick fix from craigslist, so lay off. Thanks again everyone who's responded. Makes me feel better that I didn't get a resounding "YES, DO IT" and that people do actually care to an extent. LAter guys.
