I once directed a scene with two big name pen stars who had worked together a few times... They hated each others and both came to me telling me they didn't like the other. The tension was driving me nuts but I had a scene to shoot and I wasn't going to let anything stop it.

The audio editor hated me but I shouted through the whole scene "smile!!! Eye contact!!! Smile and rub his abs!!! Go up and kiss!!! Look at him like you love him!!' I'm not gonna tell you twice!!!"

The scene ended up being one of the favorites of the year and people still ask me if they were boyfriends because they had "such great chemistry."

It was funny.

Yes, porn stars are performers and often are very emotional and temperamental and yes... When you have big personalities in the room, it's not uncommon for there to be conflict.

A good star doesn't let that show.

A bad star doesn't get asked back.

I worked on that scene. I don't think they hated each other but they hVe very different personalities and the chemistry was kinda non-existent.

i agree with you but then again, what difference does it make if you're already showing your face on camera. eventually, somebody that knows you will know and it won't be so much of a secret to run around with. the only reason why i could see why someone would want their name to be anonymous is that there are crazy ass people and stalkers outthere. other than that, you can't be surprised if people come up to you on the street and recognize you're a porn star if you're walking in somewhere in a crowded part of new york or los angeles. that's comes along with the territory. another thing too, some of these porn stars need to be realistic too. how you going to be surprised if your porn star past comes up if you're doing something around kids in a middle school (sasha grey)? i certainly wouldn't want you reading to my kids regardless or serving my kids lunch. i would prefer for my kids to not know that much about sex only when it comes to letting them know that nobody besides themselves can touch their private parts. that's about it.

I do doubt the non-existence of names which are less than 10 years old in pornstars all allegedly of legal age. What happened to the Matthews, Marks, Lukes and Johns? Andrew? Christopher? James?

Is EVERYONE in the US and A called Brady, Riley, Carson, Grayson, Rex, Colt, Brock, Drake, Parker and Logan (all of those are on the front page of the JUB galleries today)? Half of those are surnames. Whoever decides on screen names in porn clearly is the guy who writes names for The Sims. I understand they're selling fantasy, but they really do need to try harder.
