Hi,
i am surprised there is no thread on this so far. Pornhub just deleted millions of their videos. Only videos that were from verified users remained. Visa and Mastercard terminated their relationship with Pornhub because of accusations from an article in the New York Times about hosting illegal videos. Now many sex workers who made their income on that site with their videos are left without income.
I find this really annoying because the contend right now is mostly just rubbish short trailers if you are searching for newly added content. First they killed Tumblr now Pornhub.
I have to say that i have never seen any illegal content on the Gay part of Pornhub. I am really glad I saved the videos I liked on my hard drive because otherwise they would be gone now if I only saved them as favorites on the site itself.

That's sad I was on xtube the other day and i noticed on my profile all my pictures have been deleted I was like what happen???

Yeah, I noticed most everything was gone when I went there this evening.
They might as well just shut the site down now.

I too never saw any illegal content there.

Yeah. I tend to like the theory that if there's content online that you like that you'd be disappointed were lost, do what you can to save it locally (even if you have to research and learn third-party tools). Diehard music collectors and book collectors are like this too - you never know when Spotify, iTunes or others might have a rights dispute, the catalog changes hands, or album content comes and goes, or eBook platforms remove a title, but if you own a physical copy that you've bought, you can hold onto that.

Here's Vulture's news story on this for anyone interested:

Pornhub Just Deleted Most of Its Content

They also won't allow downloads from their site anymore. I get that they want to curb the flow of child porn and sex trafficking, but why does it always seem like it's done in spite of the LGBTQ community? Yes, there are some gay predators, but I also feel the stigma that all gays are pedophiles is still alive and well in some. I read their new terms and it discusses the issue of child porn. How is a normal user supposed to verify themselves when using Pornhub now? I predict that their site traffic will be drastically lower with these new rules in place.

Yes, I am pretty sure that traffic there will drastically lower than before. Deleting everything overnight without prior notice is ridiculously unfair towards all the users who spent a lot of time adding content and creating albums and playlists. I dont think the users will forget what they did and go somewhere else. Even Tumblr noticed their users before their new rules to allow them to save their content.

The whole situation could have been avoided if they had enough moderators who check everything before it goes online. Even if there is a lot of material that gets uploaded I think this could have been done if they really wanted. I think they were just to cheap to pay all those moderators with the result that they have to pay the price now that their site went downhill.

Some of my fave videos which I have bookmarked say they’ve been disabled, not deleted, so perhaps everything will be put back up once Pornhub gets their shit together. Here’s hoping.

Thisvid has become my go to for porn in recent months anyways.

They went cumpletely fucking overboard.
They removed one I have bookmarked as it's a "never fail" video for me.
The younger male is CLEARLY of age yet it's "under review".
The only reviewing I can think of is THEY are *|* ing off to it too........ *%%* *%%* *%%*

I wish I'd downloaded the stuff in my playlists. .lol. I went & grabbed the few that were left last night.
Then blew away all the playlists (most of which were empty anyway).
May just delete my account there too since its pretty much worthless....

Since PornHub is basically dead now, are there any decent replacements? (for short amateur vid's. I have zero interest in 'pay sites' and really not interested in long/commercial videos.)

I had a nice list of favorites on XTube and it's 100% nuked.

I had a couple of profile pics under a username I only used there. It took me a loooooong time to be brave enough to upload something like that somewhere, and it will be a loooooooooooooooong time before I do so again.

Kind of like the Tumblr meltdown a couple of years ago, although some of it has still escaped their AI censor, it sucks. Pornhub/XTube just took the nuclear option.

I sincerely hope JUB isn't next, I'm afraid it might sooner or later, so I unfortunately have decided to keep my $30 and let my reinstated supporter status lapse again.

I've been using Pornhub for a couple of years now and i've never came across any child porn.

God knows what people are doing on the back channels.

They got rid of some celebrity stuff. How rude. And last time I checked a pic of James Marsden isn't agains their rules.

I never visited the pornhub website but played the videos in the search engine. Last week it started with videos "not available in your country", now it's all gone.
I don't feel sorry for the company for not taking care of their business, especially in this day and age.

First the pandemic, and now a pandemic without my precious internet orgasms. They sure know how to suck the fun out of it.
Oh well, back to the good old imagination. Let's see, once upon a time there was a mega-hunky cowboy and when he arrived in Skankville it was the beginning of a blablabla

^ You ain't seen NUTTIN' until you've checked out reddit........ :-<

The easiest way is google your particular interest word followed by reddit....... ;)

IDK where your interests lie but try..............twinks reddit ....... *|*

From what I've read, they didn't delete any videos. Users now have to send in proof that they own the rights to their videos. Once they do that, their videos are enabled again. The good thing is that a lot of accounts who uploaded illegal videos like voyeur/spy cams or screenrecordings of Skype chats are now gone because they can't comply to the new rules. Bad thing: honest users who don't want to give out their data to Mindgeek.
