(Possible) changes to Idol's new season

I love Tatiana soooooooooooooooo much. I almost cried. She gives me life.

Too bad they put Joanna Panotalent through. Looks like it could have been a helluva season, but, oh well. Maybe next year they won't include those who've already had major-label releases and failed miserably at getting anyone to care about their 'music'. American Idol has become a joke. No one cared the first time, and no one will care yet again.

Did Joanna kill your dog? She fucked up sometimes but she has talent. There are far more asshats to be pissed over making it through.

How bout trainwreck Tatiana. She's gonna act like a total fuckin idiot thorughout this whole thing. I wonder how they are gonna cage this beast on live shows. I guess I can look forward to a live meltdown. Can you imagine when they have celebrity mentors? They're gonna have to tranquilize that bitch. The judges piss me off though when the let through freaks and then complain that people keep voting for them and keeping on the show.

Bottom line, for many reasons, imo, she DOES NOT deserve to be there. Period. She obviously cannot handle this competition and she doesn't deserve to be there. She has a mediocre voice at best. She had numerous times to prove 'haters' wrong, and it only fueled more fire. She can't remember her words, and she's just not...good. And yeah, others might not be the best, but they deserve to be there a lot more, as they are learning amateurs. SHE should know better by now. Now I see ANOTHER reason why her career failed before.

Wait is this Joanna the same one who was on some reality special on MTV about trying to be a singer like 5 years ago? If so, I feel really bad for her now. She has been busting her ass forever. In the special it was so sad all the shit she had to go through to try to make it. I remember this one part where she was supposed to perform on something for tv and her spot was completely cut at the last minute after she told her family she was gonna be on.

I admire the girl . She has been completely fucked over by the music industry and is still trying to make it. I don't get why there is so much animosity toward her. The music industry is so tough. She should use every opportunity possible. American Idol is opportunity. If you see some way to get you to your dream, you should chase it right?
 
Maybe animosity is the wrong word. But there just seems to be so much energy put in discrediting someone who seems like a nice and hardworking person. It's almost like people take pleasure in it. Like I said its not like she was one of the trainwreck contestants. She is a credible talent.

THAT is the unfortunate part. I personally do not like her. However, if people feel she has the IT factor to succeed, fine, but American Idol isn't the route to go. What pisses people off, including me admittedly, is that it's supposed to be an amateur undiscovered talent show. She has already been discovered. My personal distaste for her aside, she doesn't need this show. She didn't before, so why now? I feel they DID use the fact that she has been the in the industry before as a tool, as you said. It's not fair to her, nor any of the other amateur talents who haven't had the chances she's had. If she wins this competition, I believe it's the end for Idol.
I notice that for someone that's such an AI tool as she is, they sure don't show her much. So, for someone that's such an "asset" and deserving to be there, why are they hiding her so much? I really don't get it. Nobody got to see her "shine" and yet they put her in the Top 36. We pretty much saw a lot of the others.
I never mean to be disrespectful to her, but do you see where I'm at with this? Yeah, she ain't my cup of tea, but if they considered her a legit talent, they wouldn't be so shady with sharing her auditions and such.
 
wow....so Stacey...do you know the reason behind the DQ? Was it the producer connection thing...or does she have a deal already?
 
Rumors are that is has to do with Joanna's close relationship to the executives at 19 Management. But Fox hasn't said anything yet.

Was pissed to see Jamar go home. Thought he was a lot better than half of those guys.

It was also a sad moment when Jamar walked back to his friend, and the song Into Dust starts playing. That song gets me everytime. :cry:
 
yeah I just watched the second hour on my DVR(I switched over to Lost last night) I'm not all that happy with a few of their picks....to put through Tatiana and Nick/Norman and not Jamar...I'm sorry that's ridiculous. Yes Tatiana and Nick don't have horrible voices...but they didn't make it through on the merits of their vocals...I mean Paula and Kara pretty much flat out said that to Nick.

I also don't agree with putting through Matt Ryscki or whatever his name is that last one put through the welder. I don't think he has that great of a voice...the roughneck guy he went up against was way better and he should have just made it and Matt should have gone home.

and like 5 or 6 of the people that made it through I've never even seen before so I can't even make a judgment on them. lol

darlingstacy is the ONLY person saying that all of the allegations about why she isn't on there is false.

But, go to ANY place and it's all the SAME story. The reason why Joanna Pacitti got disqualified from Idol is because of her relationships and connections with record producers, companies, Idol producers and even Kara Dioguardi. The contestants from last season did have record deals and some kind of experience but got dropped like Brooke White, Kristy Lee Cook, Carly Smithson, Michael Johns, and David Cook but none of them have any ties or close relationships with record companies, Idol producers or with an Idol judge so that is why they were kept on the show. She got disqualified cause of her connections and relationships with the show producers and Kara Dioguardi and, so it's stated in the Idol contract if you have any relationships with anybody on the show, you are automatically disqualified.

Nobody KNOWS if someone found out new info. Nobody knows what all Idol knew. Not even her 'friends'.
 
I agree...I actually really liked what he did with "Disturbia"....but yeah he cries a lot but that doesn't mean he can't sing.
 
I hate the new format with the family members after the performance. Its so awkward and stupid. Why did they make all these weird changes?
 
I'm actually enjoying this show. There's been quite a few pretty damn voices so far. Anoop has to make Top 12!!
 
Casey Carlson is very pretty (too skinny) too bad she sucked out loud. I'm never gonna get over Jamar getting cut for these assclowns.
