ok i hooked up with a friend of mine about 4 days ago. As far as i know he is clean. This is only the second person ive ever been with. but 2 days ago i started getting slight pain when i ejaculate and urinate. there is also some mild burning. I fear it might be an STD, although the pain is not there all the time, only when i ejaculate or urinate.

Go see your doctor ... we are not medics here but it sounds like an UTI (Urinary Tract Infection) easily deal with with a course of antibiotics.
Could be a UTI or worse. Hard to tell and all the symptoms fall within the usual incubation periods of many. Could just be a UTI because of exposure to someone different. Happens. Ever hear of honeymoon cystitis? Could be the same here, but get it checked out.
could be gonorrhoe as well - afaik the symptons start after 2-7 days and it begins with pain while urinating, and later on you find some sanies fluid at the tip of your penis in the morning ..

Tell him that you're experiencing slight burning when you urinate, then answer his questions truthfully. He should be able to take it from there.

As everyone above has stated, go to the doctor...thats the bottom line...u shouldnt be ashamed of talking about STDs with your doctor, thats what theyre there for...self-diagnosis isnt going to cure u, so just go! The symptoms could get worse unless u have an STD taken care of

Well said...it could be a number of things but getting the feeling of pissing razor blades is never a good sign but all curable by antibiotics.

You know sometimes I think it's funny that people are so worried about various non-HIV STDs. In practice, this line above pretty much sums it up. The important thing is to get checked out and treated so that you and your partners don't have to suffer (as much).
Frankly, I've caught way worse non-sexually transmitted diseases from one night stands. I've caught strep throat at least twice from guys and let me tell you it's way worse: high fever, no energy, extreme pain swallowing for several days followed by antibiotics for 10 days (STD antibiotics are often just one dose orally or by a shot).
