lol well I hate to be the one to post one of these threads but I just have to get it off my chest. So during the summer I have become pretty close to like the hottest guy in my school, he's the quarterback of the football team and everything, been with a handful of girls all that jazz. He has an amazingggg body to. Well I have always had a crush on him and just recently in the past month or say I have been getting these weird vibes from him that he may also be attracted to guys here are a couple of incidents..

1.)we were watching Jersey Shore with a couple of friends,Ronnie( the guy on the show) came out of bed with boxers on and he(my friend) pointed out that he had a boner,I did not even notice it because I wasn't really looking so he gets the remote and rewinds it and he was right. That sparked my mind, why would he be looking their at his cock? He kinda made a big deal out of it to, and I brought it up to him as to why he would even look and he didn't have an excuse he just sorta brushed it off and was like "cause..."

2.) I had to walk through the woods to get to my friends house and he just happened to be next door playing basketball SHIRTLESS! *|* He stopped me and asked where I was going and I said through the woods and he was like cool im coming, so we were walking and I was taking as much peaks as I could without being noticeable. But then I also noticed him looking (none of my friend's no that I am Bi so i don't think he would suspect me looking) So I thought that was strange and he might have seen my look but that way he knows that I am interested.

3.) A friend brought up how hairy my one friends legs are and he was like "hmmm I wonder how hairy his ass is then cause hairy legs usually mean you got a lot of hair on your ass" that really made me wonder because what straight guy would think that..

4.) He just started casually texting me the other night to see what was up and all that. I was shocked because he never really did that before.

5.) the final one suspicion to date( and the BEST one!) someone was having a birthday party at a hall and he decided to show up drunk, and oh boy was it fun. Everyone knows who my favorite singer is so they kept running to me when one of their songs came on. Well at one point he snatched me away from someone and was like "get your hands off my man gurll!" lol now a lot of people here joke around like that here but idk if he might have been serious. As the night went on and another song came on, he came over to me and like grinded on my leg for about 3 secs( the best 3secs of my life omg i got so hard lol) I've never really seen a straight friend do that so that made me EXTREMELY curious about him. and now basically the best hint, as he was leaving he said bye to my in like a flirtatious.. so he shook my hand but as he pulled away scratched my palm( which means the person wants to have sex with you) and I didnt no what to do I was speechless and in shock I wanted to wink but couldn't do it. and then he left :( lol


I know that is really long but I need to hear people's opinions on this. Their was no way I thought he could be gay because of his track record but now I keep on getting this vibe( like he's flirting) and each time the things just keep becoming more and more. So it makes me very curious. What do you all think? Sorry that it is so long.

Also I forgot another suspicion

He just recently finally got a car and told me we can finally go to the midnight showings of movies whenever we wanted....

i think its very obvious that he likes you, a lot, and in that way.

of course i wouldnt make a big deal out of it, it may make him seem insecure or something.

dont worry about weather he is gay or bi or what have you, because does that really matter? what matter is that he wants to be more than a friend, so dont get worked up over labels.

the whole facebook thing seems like overkill. i dont think you need any more confirmation that he really likes you.

WOW really?! I just think it would be hard for me to tell cause some guys around here usually fool around with stuff like this but it's just been so much with him lately. I hope it isn't me over thinking. That's why I think it would be best to wait till he is drunk

Damn, from all your guy's input it seems like it's true.
I just find it so hard to believe because I have always fantasized him for so long, and he's like the total ladies man, so that is why I have a little doubt, and maybe he was just acting like that cause he was so drunk? What do you think is the best way to approach this to really find out?
 
When people are drunk they may do things they know they shouldn't, or would be embarrassed to do when sober, but they don't do things that they don't want to. He's into you.

The bottom line us that there is only one way to find out.
 
Most of us have been in this situation falling for best friends or straight work colleague. Are they straight, are they gay, are they bi???

Ultimately anything is possible and the only true way to find out is to be brave and make your move.

My only piece of advice if any would be....

Do something about it now and save yourself the pain.

Don't spend the next 12 months hoping and praying that he's going to come out to you and you'll end up in some fantasy relationship. The longer you pine for him the more likely you'll end up generating an unnatural obsession with him and inevitably falling out when he starts dating girls.
 
Well he already has a girlfriend but he cheats on her from time to time with other girls. That's why I find it so hard to believe that he would be interested in guys, I mean he's always talking/flirting with girls. But now that I wrote everything that has happened so far I'm torn into what to believe. I think I'm gonna text him to see a movie sometime soon, and see if he invites other people..
 
I also forgot to mention he was shit faced drunk so I doubt he remembers one thing about last night lol
 
Do not listen to these people, my biggest advice is, DO NOT DO ANYTHING PHYSICAL TO HIM! Do not put a finger on him, don't even look at him funny. Its all about conversation. Let the talk of sex come up and basically imply that you "have/willing to do anything, and you mean almost anything (Excluding anything with piss,shit, and animals). Basically make yourself sound like a free spirit. Remember first off hes still a friend, and maybe he feels comfortable around you enough to just mess around.
 
I suppose Comrad has a point. You can make a move verbally without physically touching him.

Don't leave it to the point that you're absolutely infatuated with him and uninterested in anybody else. If it's going nowhere and you let it consume you it'll be detrimental in the long run. [-X

All depends on the OP's situation. Before I came out I would do the same and look for creative ways to test the water with people.
 
Well , I tried to hang out with him today no luck. I think I am gonna go with the fake facebook method as the first test. After that I have a few more tricks up my sleeve :)
 
update : these past few days he's gotten more clingy he keeps putting his arm around and pinching my nipples lol and he was complaining how I never text him anymore today.
