Back to Creepy Old Fart
No tree for me. 
I tried putting up lights outside today. Got the first string halfway up and it died. Got the second string out and got it completely up, plugged in the third one into the second and both died.
Went to go get new lights. Went to Wally World first, out of most everything. Off to Lowe's, they already had the lawnmowers in the Christmas section. Home Depot had only one string I was interested in, went to the 'old' Wally World across the street...all they had left were clear (we want color). Finally went to Tar-gay and found some LED strings ($40 for lights, gulp) that will work.
I'll try to put them up later this week. Maybe I can get off early on Tuesday.

Kmart has those on its website for $10 dollars. My local Aldi has them too, but I couldn't find the price posted anywhere.

Next weekend has arrived, so here it is. Haven't put the lights on it, yet ... going to buy a new set next week ....
