I apologize for the girls screaming. For some reason all the rock videos from about '64 through '67 or even into '68 had that. It gets old real quick.


Here's a Welsh group doing the song, but they do sort of a descant (?) of the original melody.
 

Here's the supposedly original version of the song by The Outsiders, which I had never heard before. But I like the raw intensity or the vocals , reminiscent of the early rockers trying to bring a blues sound into their music.
