The lucky bit was his mix of blood making such a comely face, not to mention his brains.
And I think the black-haired, blue-eyed Scots are the ones I meant, not the flaming ones so much.

The default for most phones is taking pictures vertically, upright. When you rotate the phone to the left, it rotates the picture to the right in order to keep it "up". When you snap that pic, it writes the rotation info into that file.
Post that pic to a device that doesn't "know" it's been rotated already, and it's "told" to rotate to the right. Since it was rotated when taken, and it rotates it right again as "told", you end up upside down.
And, yeah, lucky. Good to see you back again!
