I know that Christmas can be stressful with all the shopping and gift giving and wrapping and traveling, but for some reason I always find myself feeling a little dumpy when the holidays are over each year.

From October to December, it seems we've always got something fun to celebrate. First there's Halloween, which is immediately followed by Thanksgiving, which is immediately followed by Christmas, which is immediately followed by New Years. But after that...? Once December ends, the excitement has faded and we're left with 4+ months of shitty weather and nothing really festive to look forward to. (Valentine's Day doesn't count because I'm a single bastard, LoL.)

Anyway... I've always found this to be the most lifeless and ho-hum part of the year and I'd love it if we could just fast-forward the first four months of the year. Does anybody else feel this way every post-holiday season?

Its not so bad for me since I love winter

And I'm beginning to resent Valentine's Day

I'm relieved the holidays are over. I would like to fast forward past all the crappy weather though.

I had the blues on New Years Day.

But now I'm over it and I'm fine. :)

I'm in the blues because my exam is only a week away...

No blues here. Nor did I get the greens, you know that feeling one gets right before re-tasting every bight of food and sip of beverage he/she has had in the previous 24 hours as it bursts back up his/her esophagus on its way back out of the body. Has anybody suffered from that today?

Having to go back to a regular work schedule is depressing. Not that I don't like having a good job. But I did get a bit spoiled with all the paid time off I had in the past few weeks.
