I wish I could understand what's "funny and tender" about all that, what "real men" are being referred to, and why that Corrado is considered so "great" even by those who do not actually like that sort of TV... I guess he's the sort of people who strike a very peculiar local chord, like Chiquito de la Calzada in Spain.

I don't know and care about Corrado. The "old fart" is cute... and funny because of what he sings. He is surprisingly in tune as well. "Real man" because of the energy he puts into the performance, the accent and the gestures. The expression... almost like a professional. I don't see this manly impetus today and I would like to have that, one day.

@Vannie: Translating wouldn't be the same either. He sings in the neapolitan slang and makes rhymes. I don't know if he wrote those lyrics and the whole song, but it's so strong and hilarious.
