Post something just for the heck of it

Bought the Bandai Death Star II kit; have to build and paint it.

would like to have a larger Nebulon 3

Seleukid Kingdom, Antiochos I Soter 281-261 BC, AR Drachm. Aï Khanoum mint
looks like it might be sc432.3a
that coin would be brittle; lot of crystallisation going on there
one wouldn't want to drop it on a hard surface as it could shatter

What about this one

Is it really in such a (comparatively) better shape as it seems to the profane eye
I mean the beads'n shit... the upper part looks quite screwed.

the eroded part is as good as gone, yet the remaining part looks sounder...

Can't tell much about the surface of that coin from a book cover
Find a better and larger pic of the coin itself.

what are you talking about here?
the first coin you posted?
the second coin/book cover you posted?
or are you referring to a more personal intracranial matter?

No, I mean the one on the cover: the upper part is gone away, but what remains looks less eroded than in the first, "brittle" one.-

Seleucid Coins, type 432, sub variety 3a (SC432.3a)

oh, those are some expensive guide books.
about $250 a piece.
Leaving aside the expected American overcharging, what is expensive about investing for life $250 in technical and niche bibliographic material..? I see listed that on Abebooks for $150.
I was asking more about the meaning of the numbers, but I will get it from there with your reference to "type" and "subvariety", thanks.
Maybe I could download the books.
