Post something just for the heck of it

I was in my front yard just before 6:00 PM yesterday and five wild turkeys came from the other side of my neighbor's house and walked across the street. This is rare. We saw a wild turkey in the neighborhood about two years ago for the first time and none since.
Thursday, I saw a wild turkey just doing its thing in NEW YORK CITY. They're everywhere.

Couldn't find your discussion with the janky search function...

Yes. Janky, impatient and snobbish. I wanted to use the JUB search function to find that thread called 'Then and Now' but the search function told me that 'then' and 'now' are too common and it couldn't be bothered searching for it.

:(

And Google couldn't find it either.

Anyway, I wanted that thread to mourn the loss of Martin Amis' vitality.

He was one of the groovy, angry young man who wrote readable fiction in the 70s.

But now he's quite feeble in the Youtube video of him on BBC Newsnight of 9 November 2016 with the clear-thinking, dysmorphicly-featured Ann Coulter. Martin Amis is snivelling and emaciated.

I watched the Martin Amis thingy with the sound down. What a bunch of washed-up old has-beens. They look like the Stupid Deaths panel from Horrible Histories.

This has long irked me. Why can't the software permit searching for a PHRASE, in quotation marks???

Not having that capability is primitive in today's world.

We could have some sick searches if things improved.

Some dank searches.

Vagairah.
