Well that one has me intrigued.

When I posted that I noticed that Donna Reed was not 25 years old when she appeared in that movie... damn, everybody was older than they said.

No wonder I found he lookd too old for just 33 in "The Last Time I Saw Paris".

^ What is the significance, especially with Africa and Asia?

I knew, even without looking at Belamo's link.

They're the only countries in the world that don't use the metric system...or the only countries that write numerical dates as month/date/year - or both.

"L'égoïsme est notre divinité légitime, car nous avons brisé les anciennes idoles, et n'en adorons pas encore de nouvelles. Celui qui ne trouve pas hors de soi d'objet d'adoration, doit s'absorber en lui-même. Telle est pour l'instant notre vocation."

just got a mint copy of Beatles SGT Pepper in Mono $900 :-)

I still say, and shant be budged from my position on The Beatles. GREATEST band in the world ever. and the records were what they were. it was ridiculous to go in and split everything up into something that required a BILLION band EQ, and then put it all back together, BADLY. bleck. I'm happy for you Kris that you have the original version.
I have it on CD. the very first CD that was available. it's likely as good as it will get. I even have the OLD LP. but we were idiot kids back then. it's not listenable. The CD will suffice.

If you can't read music, chances are that you can't listen to it either  unless you are Barbra Streisand or something like that 8-)

When you read you DO listen, bars or verses... what's the level of saying you are listening a piece of music that you say you do not actually discover until the -nth time you heard it played?

Oh, and you will never see me wearing that lousy sort of shirt, haircut and beard until I am not able to read music anymore.

Given Ali's post above, it seems I have yet to learn what "hipster" actually means

"...the word hipster is often used as a pejorative to describe someone who is pretentious..." or, rather, some people are labelled as "hipsters" by pretentious know-betters and normal-person-card hand-outers.
