Ayuda y "crea riqueza" "gestionando" y cobrando a precio de oro el diagnóstico, y el tratamiento, más costoso, que se lo coma la pública.
Y ya se ve la gran gestión cuyo desastre se ha tenido que comer la
titularidad pública (papá estado siempre al rescate después del caos montado por el credo "lo privado eh lo mejó") en las pruebas piloto de privatización en la Comunidad Valenciana o Madrid.

Y qué decir de la nefasta privatización de la sanidad en Gran Bretaña.

El dogmatismo ideológico siempre encontrará una manera de cerrar la razón a las evidencias, y disfrazarlo todo de una trasnochadísima guerra fría contra el bolchevismo.

Si el desastre de Venezuela se debiera o al comunismo o al capitalismo, no habría afortunados exiliados en el barrio de Salamanca, ni afortunados resistentes en el Caracas Country Club. El caos de Venezuela es tan grande, precisamente porque, por no haber y no funcionar, ni siquiera impera el disparate comunista.

Si España y Madrid tienen la mejó sanidá der mungdo mundiá, es porque está totalmente privatizada, como en Estados Unidos o China, verdad que sí. La sanidad española no tiene nada que ver con los años de "dictadura socialista", verdad.

"Gobierno de la mentira" es la expresión pleonástica para referirse a TODOS los gobiernos.
España ha actuado tan mal como Alemaniao el gran Estados Unidos de Trump, porque nadie quiere que le acusen de paralizar una nación Occidental por nada, menos todavía un sociata en Carpetovetonia.
La oposición fue muy responsable siendo "leal"... ya: esperaba que el marrón se lo comiera otro.

Si alguien viaja a Milán con una Italia en alerta por epidemia, y esa misma semana se planta tosiendo y moqueando en un pabellón abarrotado de personas en Madrid, la culpa será del gobierno de España que no se lo prohibió.

Lo criminal, más aún que la incompetencia de un gobierno, es el grado de fundamentalismo de quien se pasea con un cerebro afectado por cierta enfermedad que le habrá transmitido cierto tipo de mascota.

Estamos HARTOS de que nos llamen "comunistas" a aquellos que simplemente decimos verdades que a los peperonis les incomodan, porque descolocan el orden perfecto de su universo ideal de realidad paralela, mientras la población pensante sí que tenemos que aguantar las MENTIRAS impunes de los que se creen mejores, no por capacidad de gestión o por ideología y valores, porque carecen de ellos, sino por darse calor en el mismo grupito de experimento Putnam.

Tenga el valor de ser sincero: lo "criminal" no es la mala gestión de un gobierno que se mantenía en la "contención", esperando a que se le dispararan los casos, como ha hecho Alemania, Francia o Estados Unidos con Trump, supuestamente, al mando; lo "criminal" para usted es que el gobierno sea de un estimulante color rojo, en lugar de un sedativo color azul.

La investigación, la ciencia, la curiosidad que el fundamentalismo religioso condena, "es lo que hace progresar la humanidad".
Alguien ganaba igualmente "mucho dinero" cuando lo único que había para hacer negocio eran esclavos, ganado y hierbas del campo, y se podría seguir así durante siglos si todo el mundo se contentara con que las cosas "siempre habían sido así", que esas eran las "esencias nacionales", y que los libros sagrados y la fe en un todopoderoso lo sancionan.
Las buenas intenciones y las malas ideologías, efectivamente, sirven para empedrar el infierno.

Qué poco familiarizado está usted con la historia antigua: la sagrada y la verdadera... y del capitalismo, usted muestra conocer lo mismo que un podemita: no es el capitalismo lo que facilita la ciencia y la libertad; sería más bien a la inversa. Si no fíjese en lo que ocurre cuando el capitalismo desbocado, comienza a comerse la ciencia y la libertad en nombre del mero beneficio planificado (¿le suena la economía planificada?) que destruye una esencia del capitalismo verdadero, el riesgo (¿le suena también la expresión "capital riesgo?").
El beneficio, en suma, es independiente de, y anterior al capitalismo: lo que distingue al capitalismo es precisamente cómo se consigue ese beneficio, de manera que se consiga un desarrollo tecnológico y una libertad que nunca antes habían existido.
Y lo he dicho muchas veces, y aún me quedarán ocasiones para repetirlo: quienes más se llenan la boca con capitalismo, democracia y ciencia, son los primeros en renegar de todo ello cuando necesitan elegir entre ellos y el beneficio que se puede conseguir, repito, de cualquier otra manera.

¿De dónde saca usted que el fundamentalismo, religioso o político es tolerante? He denunciado al fundamentalismo, no a la religión en que a veces se envuelve.
Y no hace falta que me ilustre usted sobre fe y razón, porque tengo bien estudiado a San Agustín quien, como Doctor de la Iglesia, está en la base de cualquier encíclica de cualquier papa.
En cualquier, confunde usted "curiosidad" con "razón": la Iglesia acepta la razón entendida como vía que lleva directamente al conocimiento de Dios, pero la curiosidad tradicionalmente, antes del Vaticano II, ya sabe, le resultaba más sospechosa por ser demasiado "libre", esto es, propensa al "extravío".

A Letter from CF About COVID-19

Dear Fans and Friends,

There’s likely no business that hasn’t been impacted by the ongoing COVID-19 situation, CorbinFisher.com included. While we deliver our product and service to our customers digitally (and therefore remotely), the nature of the product and service we provide involves individuals in close contact with one another. We wanted to share with you the steps we take to ensure our performers and staff are safe and protected not only during the ongoing health crisis, but also on a regular basis outside of production.



- For many years, CorbinFisher.com has employed a licensed physician who manages our STI testing procedures, including coordinating performer lab visits, reviewing lab work and test results, and examining performers before they are cleared to work. Our Medical Director has been performing these tasks long before the current COVID-19 situation, and in light of recent events has expanded their role to closely monitor news and developments, be on the lookout for a range of relevant symptoms, assess risk, and make determinations on whether performers and episodes may be filmed. We consider ourselves fortunate to have decided long ago to employ a physician as part of our overall commitment to the safety of performers and production, and are all the thankful to have their expertise available to us in the current climate.



- Performers are quarantined during production. This has long been our policy, to ensure STI test results are reliable and no potential exposure to a sexually transmitted infection might take place between a performer’s giving samples at the lab and engaging in production. Housing performers, in the days leading up to and during production, has always been our policy, and we appreciate the additional security it affords given current events.



- The facility at which performers are housed during production and episodes are shot is cleaned and sanitized by our full-time housekeeping staff. This includes regularly sanitizing production equipment, high-traffic areas, high-touch surfaces, and more. Our housekeeping staff will redouble their efforts, continuing to use approved sanitizing products, given what is taking place worldwide at present and to keep performers and staff safe.



- CorbinFisher.com employees’ benefits include full medical, access to our medical director for telemedicine questions and consultations, and (while we’re fortunate no employee has tested positive for or exhibited symptoms of COVID-19 exposure) receive paid sick leave.



While it would appear the demographic represented by our performers is spared the greatest risk from the ongoing situation, we nonetheless take their safety and security very seriously. Indeed, we’ve long taken STI testing and performer safety very seriously and that commitment to the well-being of performers extends to these new circumstances I suspect none of us ever imagined we’d find ourselves in. Just as we’ve long put considerable effort, energy, and resources in to stringent STI testing procedures, the employment of a Medical Director, and performer quarantines before and during production, we’ll commit ourselves to doing our utmost to ensure our performers and staff - and their loved ones and communities - are supported during these difficult times.

Oops! this ended up developing in the "Funny" thread...

"Nonsense! Both the movie and the book are very clear and explicit about what the story is about, but it is simply too hard for the good, common people to take it: the delusional negation "that can't be true, this is not really happening".

"American Psycho" is about the pilatian selfishness of not caring about anything in which one does not find any sort of interest, and about desperately trying to avoid anything one does not want to hear and see; the way the characters ignore each other while talking to each other; the way the realtor at Allen's appartment deals with Bateman when he comes back after the murder; the desperate cry of Patrick for people to acknowledge his confession... the humour is about how people will ignore even the most "evident" out-loud horror just to keep their own universe at ease... just what readers do when promoting, by projecting their own state of mind, a supposedly delusional state of Bateman as the "key" to the story. And Ellis seems clever enough to be aware of all that when concoting the story... you do not need to be a genius, anyway.

Patrick bangs his deranged, but not delusional, head against the wall of a delusional and supposedly overall healthy society which can only take as truth and fact what it is ready and willing to accept. Actually, the only difference between the mind of Patrick and that of most of his entourage is his moonlighting as a literal butcher of humans. You do not need to be in late 1980s Manhattan to find the exact same thing anywhere: it is not cruder there, just more glamorous. Finally, it is also something deeper and less exceptional than serial killing and mass crime: that banging against the impracticable wall of society as it is anywhere, anytime, beyond the coating and frosting of progressiveness or backwardness...

I recall reading a piece of news in a paper of Spain, back when I was a kid in the late 1980s, about a Wall Street psycho in his late forties who would cruise the fetish gay bars in Manhattan and have a Fu Manchu session

The "golden years" are such a big deception whose best-before time is coming to an end, with the REAL end, political, social and economical, of the XXth century: they bought a concept which, under the guise of responsible planning, is actually an update of the old "squeeze from them as much as you can, for as much as they can take it", only with the promise of reward on Earth during the "golden years", from which there will still be a profit to be derived from them, only just from their money saved, their "substance", not from their bodies but, ultimately, always their "worth": actually, it is a system in which you kept fattening the older like pigs, for times in which, in olden times, or in other backward places out of the Western world, they would have no worth left in them.
It actually is, for as much as many Americans appear to despise "socialism", a totally socialist system promising Paradise, Heaven on Earth for your golden years, and the only difference with communism is that it still assumes the belief of a follow-up after death in "real" Heaven. Except for those who think they bought a bill to immortality by having their bodies cryogenized...

But, actually, it is more like a procrastination sin than a virtuous planning, and it is ultimately, overall, about ruining some lives to the profit of others, and only the lucky cases in the middle on that era can appear to represent a good, stable system... as with all the other systems. Now that we are approaching the final extreme of that era... Not to speak of that idea that older people gained the right to be cared, not like old people always expected to be, but like kids and teens in a reprise of their true "golden years".

In an ideal world you wouldn't need a virus to shake up anybody to act t"he right way".

La posición de la derecha impostora y los falsos patriotas está ya instalada en los esquemas de "preguerra": cuando algo les desmonta su mangoneo y les desplaza de su posición mental de centro del universo, a gritar que viene el comunismo, y a llamar a la cruzada por la reconquista.
