Ya ves, incluso a mi me duele más la etérea mentira o la indiferencia que el propio pobre bicho viviente... si hasta los animalistas los desprecian porque no te miran con ojitos de pena y no chillan cuando los sierran y, por tanto, para ellos un árbol siente tan poco como un perro para Descartes. En fin...

El modelo económico fallido es el mismo que ha venido fallando en la construcción de Hospitalet durante el último siglo, y que generó ese patrimonio hoy a conservar, incluidos los árboles del lado Batllori, o el más vistoso en la entrada de Llopis, aunque no se los mencione mucho en las acciones para la conservación, e incluidos también los dos centenares de miles largos de habitantes que hoy son "autóctonos". En cualquier caso, es como querer parar un tren a todo gas, y lleno de gente, plantándose en la vía por el bien de todos los pasajeros. El tren se va a pasar igual: entre que no queda mucha vía a ninguna parte, que tampoco tiene empuje perpetuo y que, delante de los que amenazan con apostarse en la vía para pararlo, ya están su propio exceso de velocidad, unos bichos asiáticos, o incluso otros grupos que van menos de buenas...

La diferencia es que algunos tenían la almorrana dormida porque les ponía que se la pitufaran doblada los azules, pero ahora los rojos se la están despertando, y andan ahora tan escocíos como los rojos hasta hace dos mañanas.

Not that it matters any more, but I didn't mind watching "Sprout's Sunny Side Up" when my son was a toddler, if just for cuter than cute Tim Kubart! The show is now defunct, but I am sure that his handsomeness lives on!

LOL ... on a side note: how many of us parents have caught ourselves still watching whatever cartoon before it dawns on us that we are alone in front of the television set?!

What need is there to destroy a people hellbent on destrying themselves daily? If you are a real God away from and above everything, why would do you care that there is dirt fuming somewhere out there in the universe?
The problem of the villains (apart from mercenary, prejudice-licking Hollywood screenwriters ) is that they are always EVEN more stupid than the heroes: that is why the "oh-so-much-more" people are so desperate when they encounter evil that is not totally idiotic... like when sports teams face others who are not even worse than them

^ It definitely shows weakness in a God to get upset about the existence of vermin, and get through so much pains to try to wipe them: that's why and how the strength and power of a Diana can ultimately prevail

It is exactly the same to point it out publicly: you get the vermin all over you about your critique


It's like the fable of the little pig being sent with other cattle to the slaughterhouse: to show conscience about weakness, dirt and evil, is not appreaciated as long as you remain sunk in it, and you are not able to remain above it... but, then, if there is only inner awareness about it, with no outspoken conscience about it, it is like it does not exist

^ On the other hand, there is a logic in the people despising a comment, critique or warning that they associate to someone whom they can not relate to neither the helpless selves, nor to that evil being pointed out: you can only praise something as long as you are able to relate to it in a way that makes you feel superior even when you apparently low yourself: that is what happens with religion and its laicist version, the adoration of idols (political, artistic, whatever)
