The Shari Lewis Show ... NBC in its infinite wisdom and an attempt to pinch pennies, taped over the recorded broadcasts of her show in order to save for posterity the 1964 Democratic National Convention.

Most tv stations re-used video tape in the 60s and 70s. It would have been a reel of 2 inch wide tape, and very expensive.

Philips brough the first home video CASSETTE recorder to the world in 1972, their N1500, which cost the same as a motor car.

What the heck is this?

That's a strange gable contraption sticking up out of the roof, there seems to be two very different front doors, and a there's a light on in the basement.

It looks like it houses machinery. A crude oil pump, maybe?

To me, it doesn't look real. It looks to me like it is a generated AI fake photo. There are a ton of these fake location photos all over Facebook recently.

Probably.

I've cringed at some of the cute cabins sitting next to a creek that would have been wiped out the first heavy rain storm. LOL

This one is cute at first glance, but appears to be some sort of utility building. Particularly with the well traveled trail along the side that has no connection to the building and ends at a terrible spot in the creek. LOL
